Founders Badge Expires for Consistent Non-Resubscribers
I love the idea of the Founders Badge. However, I don't like that they can be "taken" and "gone" by those who only sub for that first initial period, and then never resubscribe again - yet you have someone who subscribed early (maybe not the first 10/25), and continue to resubscribe. It seems unfair to that consistent supporter.
My idea is that the Founders Badge can have an expiration date for those who have it but do not resubscribe, give those who consistently support with a sub every month an opportunity to be recognized as one of regular founded supporters of your channel.
I recognize that certain situations may come up where someone has to skip a month or two of subscribing due to personal/financial reasons. So, for this, you could create a grace period for the Founders Badge - maybe somewhere in the range of 3-6 months.
For example, let's use 3 months. John subs to my channel and earned a Founders badge. John does not renew his subscription. If 3 months pass of him not renewing his subscription, he loses the Founders Badge, and it is award to the next in queue. This standard would be applied to all Founders Badge holders for the life of the channel.
I have 4 Founders Badges that no longer sub, nor watch my streams anymore. However, I have a few who have subbed 3-4 mths of the 4 months I have been Affiliate, and they just missed the Founders Badge cutoff. I think he should be awarded with the badge versus the 3-4 who subbed the first month and then never resubscribed.
