I would love for Mods to be able to receive revenue separately from the broadcasters. I also think that the broadcaster should be able to choose which Mod should receive a payout also. Mods are very Important to the channel and should be recognized, appreciated, and rewarded as well. I always thank my mods for all of their hard work and support, and I think that with all of the hate and racist and homophobic trolls on twitch, a thank you is sometimes just not enough for the hard work they do to protect Us while streaming.
Mods are the ones who keep a chat under control, use commands, choose the perfect time to put ads, ban or mute viewers, help the streamer to set things like volume of the camera, and even change the title or the category. In most cases, mods spend at least two hours doing these things, depending on the streams duration.
And yet, they don't get paid. They are working for free.
I suggest a feature which makes sure that they get any sort of revenue.
For example, each mod should get 5% of the quantity made by all subs during a stream.
Those numbers are just random. But it would be nice if twitch intervened between a streamer and their mods in order to set a mod revenue based on the quantity of money made by a streamer in each stream.
