Squad streaming as an affiliate???
Make squad stream available to affiliates???
Surely the idea of streaming is to have fun and share things with people???
You'd be more likely to grow to an average 75 viewers with the help of being able to stream alongside someone else.
Just seems a tad backwards to me, seems as, now I want to stream less in order to get my average numbers up, so that I can make partner, to then stream alongside my partners and co-streamers!

I dont like the Idea the way Twitch takes a ratio of hours streamed to create your average viewers or chatters..this algarithum is broken! Its no where close to fair, or accurate! So what im saying is if i only streamed 8 hrs as required i would be well above the limit needed to be affiliate..but because i stream many hours everyday my average is only 0.34 average when ive had raids , over 20 viewers at once for extended periods etc.. but my average because of time streamed is 0.34 viewers because of time streamed..You guys have to fix this. especially when you have a required time duration that requires us to stream for a said period of time to qualify. I shouldnt have to cut my streams short just to bring the average up..its nonsense and needs to be changed please! I have and many have worked hard to stride this average viewer count hurdle and the we see, (cause we streamed for alot of time)=(Commitment)then we see our average gets shot all to heck and keeps us out of the affiliate or partner program. Is this a scam by twitch? It kinda feels like it. Im just saying..this needs to be addressed ASAP for everyone. Please change this! Thanks for your time and support.

Not just affiliates, tbh-ALL streamers should have this option! I am an affiliate and want to squad up with my non affiliate buddies to help them grow too!!

Squad Mode helps across the board, this should definitely be added to Affiliate roles and will help more collaboration across the board. Also will limit the need for 3rd party sites for multisteam links when it can be done in house.

Allowing affiliates to stream as a squad would be a good idea to be able to do. Boosts inter-community memberships and gets people working together on some great art.

Collaborative events have proven to be one of the best methods for streamers to connect with more viewers. While they aren't necessary to have for all streamers to succeed, they serve as a great means for viewers to see their favorite creators team up to deliver great content that they would otherwise be unable to do alone. Please consider implementing the follow ideas:
1. Enable squad streams for Affiliates
Viewers will not need to rely on the use of third-party applications such as multistre.am to be able to view video feeds from all collaborating streamers.2. Merging chat boxes for all streamers participating in squad streams
There are moments when streamers exchange dialogue with their viewers in their own respective chat boxes. By merging chat boxes, viewers tuning in to the squad stream will not need to bounce between chat boxes to obtain context behind said dialogue and can more easily become involved and engage in chat. -

It seems a great way to build my community. Yet I can not until I build a Community. Twitch wants to be the best, but they restrict all the new commers to something as simple a Squad Streaming.

This really would be an amazing tool for Affiliates to collaborate with other streamers and mutually help grow each others communities. I remember reading that it would be available for Partners and Affiliates but no news on it being fully rolled out since then.

I’m sure this was promised for last year at TwitchCon Berlin, so it is about time Twitch actually got around to implementing this much delayed feature (feels like it’s been forgotten about somehow?)

As a partner, I hate the fact that I can't squad with affiliate streamers from my community. Seriously Twitch, this needs sorting out asap. Flick that switch and make it happen.

With how bad the channel recommending system is rn, this is a necessity.

This is one of the few partner only features I feel should be granted to affiliates

As you've cited in your "How to Use Squad Stream" post: "We are rolling Squad Stream out to Partners first because of the need for video quality options (also known as transcodes) in order to ensure the best experience for viewers. Currently, all Twitch Partners receive video quality options on their streams by default, while Affiliates receive them as they're available, with priority access. Our plan is to make Squad Stream available to Affiliates and all other streamers as we continue expanding our transcodes capacity."
Many affiliates get transcodes already and should be able to Squad Stream, so I want so suggest the following:
1. Allow Affiliates with transcodes to create Squad Streams with each other. If they don't have transcodes, post a little notification that you're still rolling out transcodes and this feature is still in testing (because technically it is)
2. Allow Affiliates and Partners to Squad Stream with each other if eligible (i.e.
have transcodes).Hope to be able to Squad Stream with my friends soon :)
