Streamer audio channels
Give streamers the ability to have multiple audio channels, one for voice, and one for music. This gives them the ability to play music, and the end user the ability to either listen to that music at a level they like, or the ability to mute it altogether. Not everyone has the same taste in music, and this would also allow streamers to play their music and not have to worry about their voices being muted if they play music that's copywrited, as the music channel can just be muted if that's the case.
I've been asking for this feature for ages. Literally if twitch and voicemeter came together and just made an extension where streamers could link their mixer settings so people could manually control audio channels it'd make life easier for so many people. That way streamers wouldn't have to tune their audio anymore, music too loud? Viewers would be able to turn it down without making the streamer tab out, or Mods could choose to turn the streamers voice up drastically to avoid missing an instruction etc!
Absolutely agree with this idea! I have a LOT of streamers that I enjoy watching, creating content for, moderating for, and chilling with the community.
As it stands right now the interface of twitch is very... "one streamer over all" priority.
The multi-stream programs that exist are also not a solution seeing how I can't control the individual volumes the streamer has going. So it ends up with me constantly muting and unmuting people, feeling like my bandwidth is being wasted, and just not hanging out in some of the streamer's channels I really enjoy.
If twitch had a program that could plug-in to the most popular mixer programs, Discord, etc. Giving the viewer the ability to control each volume, I could watch in peace.
I think this would increase likelihood of me donating to multiple streamers as well.
Also... DON'T LOCK THIS FEATURE BEHIND A PAYWALL/SOFTWALL LIKE TWITCH PRIME OR TWITCH AFFILIATE/PARTNER.
As a creator I’d require this feature to be opt-in.
Imagine the cringe having me hum along to a song whilst my viewers have muted the song I’m hearing. No thanks!
Plus, we streamers should take our responsibility and start respecting Copyright! My two cents
I'd say allow for a bunch of audio channels - say a max of like 5 - and then let the streamer decide what they are, name them, and give them default levels. A little popout from the normal volume selector could then show you each channel and let you change the volumes independently.

I agree. Sometimes some streamers just like to listen to themselves talk. I'd like to be able to mute them and just listen to the game audio.
Agreed. I enjoy running Nightbot because it allows me to interact with my viewers more, and playing music is something I like to do when I'm gaming anyway. I would say there could be three audio channels though - game, voice and music. Game and voice could be combined, since to me the main problem is all my audio being muted or youtube blocking my videos when I export them because I played music. Even if this was just something you figured out with Nightbot, that would help many of us I think.
