Rewind Stream is great if you missed something on stream but you want to quickly have a look at what it was, instead of having to go to the channel home and check the VOD. The Remind Me button is also good so you get a reminder when the streamer is going to go live. The Watch Trailer button is great for new viewers.

It's kind of usefull but way too big.

Make it so that you can write in chat while the stream is rewound.

Make it as intuitive and easy as it is on youtube. no weird buttons to rewind 30s, if they have vods enabled, just allow the scrubbing like yt does

A progress bar like YouTube would be a lot better.

Since the Streams are no longer kept as they used to be, but are gone when the Streamer stops Streaming, I see no value in this.

I like the idea of having the progress bar.

I think employing a stream progress bar similar to YouTube would work a lot more efficiently. VODs on twitch feel very clunky and there is a lot of buffering in general. Going through a VOD feels laborious.

Idea great but execution is kinda useless, as it is.
I click on "rewind-2 min" and then the VOD loads in. And as we know, VODs and Twitch never works great. long loading time.
Then the VOD plays the past few 2+mins, after those two min played, it just jumps back to the LIVE player and doesnt continue where i left the live stream.
So watching the past 2 minutes makes me miss 2 minutes of the live stream i cant watch, only if i press this features button again.

An rewind in the live feed would be much better.

Please ensure there's a way to disable this feature for safety reasons during IRL and Travelling streams as the rewind feature could be used to find the streamer's location and hence put them at risk

I think this is a great idea! There plenty of times in a stream where I miss what they say or don’t hear them properly so a rewind would be amazing :D

Rewind:
The stream is muted when returning to live. Its like the function to unmute when returning to live was forgotten.

Also putting the button next to the bio, it can't be accessed from theater mode.

I really dislike that the chat is being cleared once you go back to the live broadcast, and I'm also not too big of a fan of how the rewind feature is implemented to be honest.

While it was probably the easiest to just use the same layout ads and watch parties use, doing it this way for rewinding streams and going back to live is just not it.

I know that YouTube's player works vastly different, but having both the rewinded stream and the live stream in the same place is A LOT more user friendly and a much better experience in my opinion.

Apart from that, I assume this why it's being tested, but the rewinding does not always work. Sometimes it just pushes the live broadcast to the top right and mutes it, then loads the VOD for 1-2 seconds staying at 00:00:00, fails and goes back to the live broadcast without unmuting it.

I had no chance to check out the watch trailer button yet, I don't think anyone that I watch has a trailer on their channel, but the remind me button seems to do what it should (will have to wait until tomorrow to see if I get a notification)

It would be a lot better to just add a whole stream progress bar to the stream.
So people can go back when they want and to when they want. If they are not in the "live" state chat is disabled to prevent from sending messaged confusing streamer and other chatters. If vods are disabled in general just don't display the bar at all.

Would be nice if twitch had some way to subscribe on beta testing the new features, I would even reply forms about what I think.

Add an option to live pause the stream on ads with the rewind function, so you can catch what you missed during an ad break.
