Remove / Update Collection Limit
I request that the 100 collection limit be removed or raised.
A channel can have an infinite amount of videos uploaded / highlighted / clipped, but can only organise them into 100 playlists. Once you've played 100+ games, you're out of luck.
For variety streamers who play many different games and would like their content to be accessible and organised, this limit has forced alternative options (like off-site re-uploading / messy collection systems).
I would like to keep my community ON Twitch, and I would like ALL content that I've made remain in one place, organised, rather than providing various links to different sites.

I 100% agree with this. It's just not convenient for anyone to shelve their videos onto an offsite like youtube due to a seemingly arbitrary limitation on how many collections you can make.

It's a great idea, I agree entirely.

It'd be great if I didn't have to go to another site to watch the video I want. I have a hard time switching like that.

For the god of love please. Wanting people to use your website instead of using an external service would seem obvious but here we are.

Yeah this is kinda arbitrary and it doesn't feel like it makes much since since effectively all it is is a playlist of videos that are already hosted.

As a viewer I gain immense satisfaction from being able to very easily navigate archived streams, and the concept of being able to pick a playlist and watch a game is like a dream.

As someone who loves archiving every stream they do for future viewers to see, I would love to see this limitation removed.

Agreed! Keeping it on Twitch allows us to keep up to date better with streamers VoDs as well as browse their current history without leaving the website itself. Please increase or remove the cap!

Is that 100 videos/streams in all collections you make or 100 collections with different amounts of videos in each one, at moment I can not copy and paste any videos into collections, it could not be max amount as I have 77 collections in total. I think its major bug in collections as I can not put any my latest videos of 9 in total, but I can put old videos in to a collection, have message Twitch etc and no feedback at all, as its gone on for over week now! If any you peeps can help me out would appreciate it? as I enjoy making collections as my personnal goal thing..

Collections shouldn't have a limit, IMO. This could really hamper long-term growth, because it essentially sets a limit on the number of 'series' a channel could support. Please consider removing any such limit.

It's the awful alert when the limit is reached,I want collections for ALL games who I'm streamed not for only one or another game because most of them haves much parts and I like organization in my channel, please remove this not necessary limit nor Youtube haves any much absurd in it's playlists after all -.- -

Hi Catherine,
My plan is to upload my entire Twitch Livestream history via Uploads. I currently have to host it on YouTube, where I get a decent amount of discovery traffic that sometimes routes back to Twitch. Prior to the addition of the Collections tab feature, there was no way to organize the clutter of multiple episodes/parts of game playthroughs. To keep it organized, I've only uploaded Episode 1 for every game I've played. Now that Collections are a thing, I'd like to upload my ~2-3 terabytes of additional episodes per game and organize each game series into a Collection.
So the plan is to establish a "Collection" for each individual game, and then finish uploading all of the videos for each individual Collection once they are set up and ready to go. Uploading all the parts is going to be a multi-month project, so I wanted to make sure there wasn't some sort of limit to the total # Collections allowed before I started uploading a couple terabytes of video to Twitch. I'm glad I went with making these 100 placeholder, 1-video Collections before getting industrial with my uploading because I hit the limit with 200 games left to go (and that number constantly growing).
I'm planning to use the Collections tab like this submitted idea: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/552523-videos-uploads-past-broadcasts-and-highlights/suggestions/16490590-channel-specific-games-browser
Basically, a Games Browser that is unique to my channel where people can see all uploads separated by Game and sorted by me.
Thanks!

Hi Marstead,
Took a look and you have a single video in each of your collections. Could you tell me why?

I'm using the Collections tab as a way to add a single playlist/video collection for every game I've played on Twitch. After adding my 100th Collection, I can't add a 101st Collection. There's no on-screen error, I just click "New collection", type the name and click Create, and nothing happens. Is it intended that we are limited to 100 Collections? If so, I think the limit should be advertised, and there should be a visible error when trying to add the 101st collection. Thanks!
