Can you please stop people from broadcasting pre recorded content as 'LIVE' if it's not a live person online, then list it as a rerun.
Can we please list pre-recorded content as re runs, or create a new catagory as it's wrong to list is as Live, it's doing a diservice to the streamers who make the effort to sit in front of their PC's broadcasting live content and it's killing their channels, especially the ASMR catagory.

This practice is dishonest and unfair to people who livestream and even to those who do legitimate reruns. It also makes the section look dead

I agree with this, it's very misleading and unfair for other streamers in the community

Yep, my thinking. A clear separation between actual live content and recorded stuff should be done. It's always a pain to seek through content advertising as what you seek, but it's not.

I have to agree, since there is a re-run feature in Twitch, they shouldn't use pre-recorded as "LIVE". A lot of streamers are doing it, especially in the ASMR section and they've never even been actually live, plus some of them just use it to lure viewers and promote their YouTube channels.

pre-recorded is for youtube, live should be live

100% Twitch is about LIVE content streaming not streaming pre-recorded content.

In my opinion there should be a clear distinction between what is 'Live' and 'Pre-Recorded' - not only for viewer-caster transparency but also to make it easier for people to find relevant streams. In the end I come to Twitch for live content.

completely agreed, running pre-recorded content 24/7 as live shouldnt be allowed this is what the re-run feature is for, otherwise what the point in the re-run feature. Please address this Twitch

I've made this comment elsewhere but will echo it again here. . .
I find it shocking that an ASMR channel is playing youtube videos - which you can match to the second on youtube and yet is being highlighted on the Twitch homepage under "recommended live channels"
1. its not live
2. it's not even a re-run of an ASMR stream its a YouTube video
3. this isn't the only channel that is doing itIt is sad for all the people who are working hard to produce live broadcasts going unnoticed behind these "Live Streams" of youtube content. .. this is a live broadcasting platform not YouTube. . . if I wanted to watch youtube vids and have no interaction with a streamer or community I would go to youtube.
Please, address the issues within the ASMR category
