Feature: Watch Later
The way it would work:
There would be a button with the Clip/Options/Theater Etc. settings that would look like this http://i.imgur.com/zA5KDxa.png (quick 5am mockup). When you click the button, it will timestamp the VOD and take you to that moment when the VOD has been uploaded.
Maybe there's a separate page on your profile where you can manage your "Watch Later" links; with a VOD link OR maybe you get a twitch message from a bot with a link to it?
I'm not 100% sure if this has been submitted before or if there's a way to do this as of right now.
Thoughts?

I often fall many streams behind on a story based games and go back to watch them in order in bulk. I would Really like a watch later playlist like to what Youtube has, being able to que up VODs in a personal playlist would be an amazing feature for people like me who cant catch every stream of our favorite streamers but still want to watch them.
There seems to be an auto play function in place already so I don't think if would be much of a leap for us to be able to order the auto play que ourselves in a personal playlist.

I support this. To be able to save a link or bookmark while watching someone live, and then later being able to resume at that exact time after the streamer has gone offline.

I think it would be good like "Enter unlimited Videos you watch later" and you should have a list with those Videos, even if you come back after days. so the Videos are in like a "Playlist"

On other video platforms, I typically add all videos that I want to watch to my Watch Later playlist. There I can put the videos in the order I want to watch them, then play the entire list without having to go to each creator's video page.

It'd be great to be able to add content to a queue that I can then watch later, in the order it was added, at my convenience.

Similar suggestion as "User Bookmarks for VOD"
https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/297558-general/filters/my_feedbackYes it would be incredibly useful on mobile especially, to have a way to remember the last played position on a VOD.
This suggestion is different but I could see a way to make both work:
- with the "watch later" icon (OP suggestion) , whether you watch a VOD or live, it would effectively create a single (one per VOD / broadcast) bookmark available later in a "continue watching" section
Therefore if I'm watching a VOD on mobile I would tap that icon before closing the app, and be able to continue watching later.
If I'm watching LIVE like OP suggests, likewise, it would appear later .. but since it was during a live broadcast that "timestamp" would show up only when the broadcast has been archived (as OP said "when the VOD has been uploaded").
Just a suggestion to support both scenarios.
For the VOD "resume" scenario, that would mean it is a manual feature, and not automatic (where as it would stroe the last playback position of the last 10 watched VODs for example).
But that's fine.One implementation idea:
- if not bookrmark set it just lights up or show a fading out popup that says something like " Added to your Watch later queue"
- if already bookamrked (current live or VOD), it could give a choice : replace current position, cancel, and "delete / clear". (the last one removes it from the "watch later" list.
