Allow private broadcasts
Twitch used to allow you to password protect your stream, but this feature was removed some time ago and I never understood why.
There should be a way to allow only people I approve of to see my stream. Sometimes I want to share a game with my friends and only them. Yes, "not playing" exists, but that will still send live notifications and won't prevent unapproved people from watching.
Yes, bring this back!
This is a good idea for things like private events. People who can't come will be able to watch a private stream instead!
You can make a channel for subscribers only (i think) - if you do not promote it publicly, you can filter your audience that way while charging them (at a fixed-rate)
I would like to developp add on for twitch so it could be used in private streaming to replace WebEx online to have better streamed course
plz add private stream at reasonable cost for example for
online lessons (courses)

I personally want to do this myself for photo editing.
I take photos of a group of friends playing Ultimate and spend around 6 hours editing them all for Facebook.
I want to protect the people I took pictures of but I also want them to be able to watch my edit them if they so choose.
They were removed because of people breaking Twitch rules with private streams.
