  1. On the event of a Stream restarting or even needing to switch OBS settings, it’d be nice to be able to let Twitch know that “this stream is part of the previous one that ended (within a certain amount of time) ago.” I think twitch has an automatic version of this, but in the oddball case of it marking two back to back streams as separate, it’d be nice to merge them.
Why? - During stream fails you don’t have to worry about starting a new “record” on your channel; Viewers of VODS won’t have to switch; Stream Schedule Page…

  2. Playing streams at 60fps leads to lots of short buffers and regular intrerruptions. Having an option to play 60fps streams at 30fps regardless of whether the streamer only offers the source, should be a feature.

  3. When a stream lags all viewers wonder if they lost connection, or did stream F. Show a different spinner for each of these cases

  4. For example, streamer mikey123 is at streamer janey789's house, or just participating in her stream. His followers don't have any way currently of knowing that he is there, unless they follow janey789 and see she is online. Showing him as 'online' and maybe something else like 'in another stream' would bring more of his followers to the stream, giving janey789 or whoever else more exposure.

  5. YouTube lets you use the mouse wheel to change the player volume.

I'd like Twitch to duplicate this functionality.

Users should be able to hover over the player controls to show them then use the mouse wheel, when hovering over the volume slider to increase/decease volume

  6. Similar to the new viewer chat window rules pop up; giving streamers the ability to have a new viewer about me pre-roll intro could be useful.

Lots of times viewers aren't reading the bio a streamer takes a lot of time to craft. Giving the option to run a short video could elevate repeat questions.

  7. hello my name is nicolas i'm 15 years old i'm from brazil and i came to give a suggestion, i follow many streamers who play fps games and always had the problem of ghosting: the person who is on the opposing team can know where you are from your live, delay is a tool that makes it impossible to communicate well with the chat, so I came to give a suggestion: you could add, make a function with which the streamer could block a certain person from seeing your screen, because normally the person's nickname in the game is the…

  9. I want to watch multiple streamers and hear them without the gameplay sounds overlapping so that I have no idea what's happening in any of them. I just want to focus mainly on one, but still hear the other streamers talk.

  10. I would like a way to watch multiple streams at the same time, kind of like multitwitch.
Twitch has gone out of its way to break sites like that so why not do it instead.

  11. I recently had a person on my stream, in live game say the N word. It would be nice to be able to mute that segment of Audio, instead of having to delete the entire video.

This kind of issue is disgusting and needs to be dealt with. I reported the person, but it will not have any real consequences.

Please consider putting a mute feature in the video editing section.

  12. When watching a replay of any Esport game, i.e LoL, you can take an educated guess of how many games have been played by the remaining time left. It would feel nice for a viewer to keep the excitement as if he/she was watching it live.

I suggest hiding the time remaining bar on replays.

    Just my two cents, cheers
    Jason

  15. It's known that the pitch-bending of the low latency mode sounds horrible when watching music, but is great for other kinds of streams to keep viewers as close to real-time as possible.

Instead of just "on" or "off", low latency mode could have 3 options: "always off", "always on", or "on unless watching a stream from the music category"

  16. I'd like to eventually do a live sportscast of live miniature golf, and I would like a frame advance/retreat feature. I know the computer provides the zoom features.

I need to analyze the previous putt if the difference between a double putt and a botched single putt is very big.

Also other live "body sports" and human referred e-sports might need it.

  17. Would love to be able to set viewer permissions on different Video Sections.
This way we can curate content for the public versus for followers or different sub tiers.
This adds even more value to channel subs in a Patreon-ish fashion and empowers streamers to move away from platforms like YouTube.

I would like to be able to send a video like you do with ads but with a custom video for a specific viewer.

  19. To avoid some leak and some troll, I want to selected a list of Twitch users who can see my live broadcast.
So only those specials users can see it.
Like a private room in zoom.
