There should now be a time while live or recording in the bottom bar

Add the ability to use video backgrounds.
For my startring soon, brb, and ending stream screens i use a loopable video background on my cast. This would be a great feature to have on Twitch Studio.
42 votesThis should be complete! I believe there are a few issues with some .mov files though. Please reach out to us on Discord if you have any other issues with the new media layer

Show list of usernames viewing the channel
Would be nice to see a list of specific usernames viewing the channel, rather than just the number. Could be helpful for new/small streams to know who is watching at the moment.

Add a way to just "go live"
Either be able to skip the stuff after i hit the "stream setup" button or have a setting to just go live straightaway or only show it if you haven't streamed in x # of days or something. At the very least, have an obvious way to go live because as a user who has already set up stream, I don't know what to click to just go live

Streamlabs integration
would be nice to have integration with donation systems like streamlabs etc
7 votesYou can use the “Embed Webpage” layer type which is basically a Browser source to add these other types of alerts and overlays. I’ll mark this as completed for now, but maybe we should make it more clear that’s what Embed Webpage does

No way to capture video/audio via a capture card
I have an AVerMedia HD capture card, but Twitch Studio only shows this device under "webcam" and doesn't have an option to capture video and audio from a non-PC source.
If we plan to feature parody with every other streaming software, this will be a requirement. I know MANY streamers that will pass on using Twitch Studio for lacking this critical feature.
6 votesInitial support for capture cards is now available! We currently support Elgato cards, but working to add others in the coming weeks.

Let alerts text wrap
It seems to ALWAYS get cut off, even the smallest default alerts
4 votesI believe we did make an improvement to this, not necessarily wrapping. We will revisit in the future if needed

shortcuts keybindings
make it possible to map the same keyboard shortcut for mute/unmute microphone as a toggle, it dont work like that now, if you have them bind to same it will trigger them both in sequense it seams, so it mutes and unmutes again
2 votesDone!

Alert Testing
I don't see any option on the alerts to test them and see how they would work when live. I want to make sure they sound okay, if the animations of the gifs work, etc. etc.
2 votesThere is a play button next to each alert type in the right column that should fire a test for the corresponding alert type

Capture card
Please, add support to Avermedia capture cards. I love your software and I would like to stream my consoles on it. Thank you.
2 votesWe’re constantly adding support for new cards and fixing issues related to them, please come chat with us in Discord if you are having any issues with your setup!

Don't have viewer count clickable if it's not actually showing me viewers
right now, the hitarea for the performance includes viewer count -- it's confusing b/c it makes me think clicking it will open info about my viewer count but it doesn't so would rather just not make the viewer count clickable.
2 votesYou can click to toggle viewcount and it is now separated from the performance panel next to it

webcam crop/resize
make it so we can crop webcam, makes it mush easier for us with small green screens to setup our chromakey
1 voteCropping is supported – it’s in the top bar in the layer editor. We’re looking at ways to make it more obvious or easy to use (e.g. keybinds, better labeling) but I’ll mark this as completed for now

Green Screen
Allowing Chromascreening for Green Screen bg in our feeds.
1 voteThis is already available! It’s a little hidden and not in the first time onboarding flow. If you click on your webcam layer, there should be a chroma key filter in the bottom right that you can add and edit to get your green screen effect
We’re looking at improving this experience in the future

save window resize when closing the program
Every time I reopen Twitch Studio, I have to resize the window to make it fit my screen setup. It would be great if it could save the last window size and location (if possible) from the last time the program was closed.
1 voteThis should be fixed, it was a bug

More font options
The font options available for making new text areas or editing existing ones are just the basic Windows defaults.
1 voteWe should be using a handful of Google fonts here already – but it’s possible we may add more in the future depending on demand
