add .png files as scenes and overlays currently only .overlay files are able to be uploaded but some people have spent money on high quality overlay/scene templates but are unable to use them because they are .png files. Adding .png filed as a recognized scene or layer would be great.

Animated images are supported; please just make sure you're selecting the image or media layer and ensure the media file is set to loop. Hope that helps.

.jpg .png images need to be able to be uploaded It's truly distressing to not be able to upload .jpg .png images for the channel.

gif images should be compatible when adding a gif image it should be allowed to work like a gif and not be a still image

Most common image file types are supported, including GIFs. To place animated images in your scene, use a Media layer instead of an Image layer. Hope that helps.
