  1. Do not treat Japanese comments as spam.

    I made a mod,and I submitted it to CurseForge.
    After, I set its Primary Language as JAPANESE.(because I am Japanese)

    But my Japanese friend, he send the comment to its page, the comment is treat as spam immediately.

    It is not good.please change settings.

  2. add developer stats to the user profile page

    the authors dashboard displays various stats..it would be nice have total downloads and project count available on our public profile pages

  3. API access to csv data

    Right now we can export projects via csv 1 at at time. For developer like myself with 60 projects this is very inefficient and requires automation to get down quickly. What me and several other developers would like is an API driven way to access the data exported. This way we can feed it into other tools and software directly. As well integrate it with our sites for the projects.

  4. You can MASSIVELY improve CurseForge simply by making the project search show whether something is a mod or a modpack.

    I just now went out of my way to join a Discord server and tried to ask someone whether their mod Technomancy Revamped had the same issue as another 1.12.2 port of the mod called Technomancy. After much confusion and irritation on both sides of the conversation, someone mentioned to me that Technomancy Revamped is a modPACK, not a mod. The CurseForge search results give absolutely no indication whatsoever as to whether a specific result is a mod, modpack, texture pack, or whatever else it could be.   5. Provide a way to find new projects on CurseForge

    It would be very useful to have a reliable way of finding new mods on CurseForge. There is the ability to sort by the project creation date, however this is not the same as a project being new, and has many issues that can harm the discoverability of new projects.

    To give an example, many mod authors will create the CurseForge project page days/weeks/months before they upload a new file. The reasoning from this can vary but it's often because they want to reserve the slug ID, or an issue came up in development which has delayed release. Another possible…

  7. Has Dependency Icon

    Next to the mod download on main page there should be a small icon to say the file has dependencies. Right now if a user clicks the quick download option there is nothing to tell them there is dependencies. This information is hidden in the files page. Which very few users actually travel to check for dependencies. Many mod authors I've talked to have resorted to "HAS DEPENDENCIES" messages/links at the top of the page.

    This could be solved with a little icon, maybe even a number, next to the download button.

  8. Add total size of modpacks (with all included mods)

    Adding a display for the total size of a given modpack (actual modpack download with configs and all + all mods it includes) would be great.

  9. Author Project Filter by type

    Would be nice to have a way to filter by type on the author project page https://minecraft.curseforge.com/dashboard/projects as it can be a pain once you get over a set number of projects. Mainly looking for a way to search for mods or modpacks. As well exclude unsubmitted and deleted projects.

  10. CurseForge wise, any abandoned mods/projects should be deleted automatically.

    Any abandoned projects/mods/modpacks should be auto-deleted after a year.

  11. Download Latest File button does not respect the Game Version filter

    If you go to a project's "files" page, and filter by Game Version, the Download Latest File button should download the latest file available for that filtered list.

    Specifically if I go to (https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/autofish/files) and filter by Game Version: 1.14, only one file appears, which is a Release-flagged file. Hitting the Download Latest File button still downloads a file for a different version. Also, in that specific instance, the file it downloads isn't even the latest Release version overall.

  13. Add the changes tab to the project side of the site

    On the user-facing side of the site we have a 'changes' tab to show the change log of the latest file https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/icbm-classic/changes This tab is not present on the project side of the side https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/icbm-classic and would be useful if it was included.

  14. Project download data

    Would be useful to see the source of downloads of a mod. Mainly in regards to modpacks vs downloads vs dependencies. This way mod authors can see where the downloads are coming from and decide how to best focus their efforts.

    Show compatible forge build versions for a mod. Some gave minimal forge version, some have gaps in coverage, some have maximum forge version.

    Also let us search for all mods working with a certain build.

    In general some kind of continuous integration feedback. And while at it, make the ci test both on stand-alone and client so that users can quickly see on the kids page if it works only on client or server.

  18. Add sorting ability to a mod dependents view

    As exemple:
    I want to find modpacks with Thermal Exmapsion mod, I can find TE mod, open Dependents view ( https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/thermalexpansion/relations/dependents ) and all that I can see a list of 300+ sorted by alpha mods and modpacks.
    It will be really helpful to add ability to sort them by populatity too. Ideally the same ability as in the main search page.

  19. Please write a 302 redirect to send 404's from /server-mods/ to /projects/

    Last year the content from /server-mods/ was reassigned to /projects/ and broke thousands and thousands of links on resource pages.

    Instead of waiting for us to contact the author of each plugin and ask them to overhaul each Wiki and resource page, can you write a 302 redirect to redirect requests for everyone automatically? They'r always used in this situation, it just looks like someone forgot. : ( It happens

  20. Separate project change log from file change log

    The site currently shows the change log for the last file uploaded. Which is good if the file was manually uploaded and a log was pasted in by the developer. Problem is a lot of mods only do change log for the current file, leave it empty, or autogenerate the change logs. This makes the change log tab on a project mostly useless.

    Ex: One of my own projects https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/icbm-classic/changes we use auto-generated logs which are not very human readable.

    My suggestion would be to separate the presented change log from the file change log. This will let developers keep…
