Bits via "Cheer" should function for Extensions Probably 95% of Bits are provided through Twitch Chat by typing e.g. Cheer100.
This way of using Bits is explained and well-known for Twitch viewers. Not allowing Twitch Developers to use the same functionality is a direct limitation and provides an inconsistent user experience.
For example, let's say we have a game called "Racer". Join the race with bits and race against other viewers. Viewers type racer100 in Twitch chat and join the race.
Every developer gets a certain code (racer) similar to the extension name, and the amount determines the action. The action list is communicated with !racer, more…

Allow mod comments Add it so I can make a comment to the twitch streamer without having to DM them on discord or whisper, please.
/comment Care for [user] being toxic in chat with [ ] .
Just would make things easier IMO and helps a lot if the streamer gets issues with running discord or any other issues.

Overlay extension interfere with player keyboard shortcuts Enabling overlay extension ("Ctrl+ Stream Kit" tested in particular but probably any) currently makes it impossible to pause/unpause livestream in web player with spacebar hotkey until "Pause" icon is clicked with a mouse at lease once since page load.

Extension Support I would suggest making sure whoever makes an extension that requires bits needs to continuing offering support for that extension for as long as it remains up. I have used multiple extensions thats require bits from the users in my chat and those who made the extension no longer supported it and was just collecting the 20%.

Activating an Extension FAILS when using Firefox 98.0.1 Cant activate Twitch Extensions when using Firefox 98.
- Open Firefox 98
- Install a new extension (Blerp for example)
- Activate & Authorize extension
- Error Page: Firefox Can't Open This Page
- Once again, click on Activate extension and assign a panel

Enforce accountability when extensions are non-functional When an extension had features tied to money transactions, e.g. gifted subs, and that extension has been admitted broken by the developer then do not allow the developer to continue to operate the extension until it is fixed.
Bungie admitted on its support twitter back in mid-December that the extension was broken and even though they claim to have corrected the problem, the extension still doesn't properly work and their own support department stopped taking support tickets on the topic shortly after the fix. Almost 10 weeks of no solution or workaround as of writing (Feb 18).
For situations like…

More slots for extensions & extensions both on panel and overlay With more and more funny and useful extensions coming out it would be really helpful if the amount of slots could be bumped up by a lot, the 2 overlay, 3 panel is just not cutting it.
And if the mobile overlay use isn't coming any time soon, make it so that we can place an extension in both the overlay and panel slot at the same time, so that we can cater to both types of viewers.5 votes -

Add more total pannels that can be active at once. It would be nice to be able to have the ability to add as many extensions as I please because at any given time I usually would want 4 or 5

Extension chat broken popup if you click on an extension chat message on the name of the extension
You get a little chat UI with the extension description
That description has a "popout" button
That loads a broken user card

Player hotkeys should work with extensions visible The video player has many hotkeys, most usefully Spacebar to pause/play and M to mute/unmute. When an extension is enabled on a stream(it may only be some extensions, but I've noticed this with the vast majority), it seems to form an invisible pane that will eat clicks on the player (i.e. highlighting it to use the hotkeys). Hotkeys still work if you can select the player, which you can check by clicking the control strip at the bottom.
This doesn't really feel like intended behavior and is extremely confusing if you don't know about it.

Mini Screen for overlay expert. Also make it visible to mobile users. Overlay Expert Recommendation: You know how streamers shrink their gameplay screen to a certain size? That would be a nice addition. That's if it's possible of course.

Keep review notes on extension Right now if a twitch extension gets denied and needs developer to re-submit, the review notes are all gone. It would be great if for the same extension it would keep the review notes. I had an app that had a backend issue that I resolved, but I had to re-submit the app (didn't upload any new files or change anything), and the review details was empty.

More Panel Extensions I am curious why Twitch streamers are limited to 3 panel extensions. I hope there is a good reason, cause I feel like 5 sounds like a better number. There's a lot of super awesome extensions out that I can want to utilize, but the limited # prevents that. Any reason why it's limited to 3, and could it be expanded?

Allow Editors to access the Streamers Extentions As an editor for a few of my friends, as it stands the only way for me to edit their extentions is via their personal sign in ID and password. I find this rather distasteful since we are supposed to never share that information. As an editor, I should be allowed to access something as important as extensions that provide NEEDED additions to the stream! Please, I hope Twitch, fellow users, and fellow editors share in this idea and see the assistance it would offer the gamers, and the truly epic opportunity Twitch editors(Like myself) would be able to further…
