Audio only for Desktop App
Can we get an audio only option for the Desktop App. The Mobile App has that option and it would be pretty nice if we can get the same feature for the Desktop App. Also the browser version too. Twitch as a radio/streaming channel would be pretty sick in my opinion

I found a good app for it. it's called "Alternate player" and it's a chrome extension.

This would be very helpful. Music streams have gotten so much more popular that I and many other people simply use Twitch as our main streaming/radio service now.
Unfortunately, running video takes up extra resources which are effectively wasted when lurking and bandwidth which causes the whole stream to often cut in and out due to buffering that is unnecessary when only listening.

0 downside to this, helps alot for people with low bandwidth and streams which don't have downscaling. Could also be eco-friendly as a screen doesn't need to be on and the stream can be listened to like a podcast(which many like to do)

Would be nice. It works very well on phone version, so we can hear the streamers talk smoothly, hear in-game music, in-game dialogue smoothly. At least make it work for users with lower internet speed esp during lockdown period where twitch only allows 720p or higher quality.

Would be so easy for people whose internet can be bad and can't watch streams in 720p which seems to be the only option lately for non-partner streamers. I'm so tired of trying to mod for streamers and actually watch when I lag back every 5 seconds.
