Make Twitch chat hold position once scrolled up(great for high participation chats)
Scrolling up in a twitch chat that has filled its 100-300 message limit(whatever the chat history limit is), while many new chat messages are being sent makes it impossible to read the chat message you scrolled up to read. Please, the web browser version handles this perfectly, freezing the chat viewport on the text you scrolled up to, rather than letting new chat messages push what you wanted to see upwards.
It is at times quite aggravating trying to scroll up for a link, or missed text in Twitch chat only to have the chat bumped the entire way back down to baseline. How many times will people have to try finding something in a popular chat only to have wasted time on multiple tries?
A freeze chat feature would be fantastic & I'm certain, widely popular with the Twitch community.
Did you say the web browser handles that perfectly? Well not anymore! :)

I wish they could do this. Maybe even if only optional where after enabling it it stops loading new chat messages until I jump to the latest message.
Cause currently in large populated streams it gets really difficult to read specific comments and then reply to them via whisper to start/continue conversation, cause the name goes by too fast to read and/or too fast to click on, cause it gets pushed up by one -> move mouse up-> pushed up by one, etc. .
