Can't find games?
Seems the app somehow forgot where my WoW folder was, even though it's smart enough to know that I have WoW open and running.
When I try to update my mods, I get "We didn't find any games. Let's try this again!".When I try "Locate Game", I select the WoW folder and it says, "Game was not added because that instance is already tracked by Twitch". Interesting phrasing there, everyone LOVES to be tracked these days, so I'm sure no one has a reason to be paranoid before allowing a full scan for games... When I reluctantly did scan, it took a while because I have 5 hard drives. Needless to say, it doesn't find anything that way either.
This is particularly disheartening because the only reason I have this bloated app on my PC is to update mods, and it's tedious to keep having to force quit it anyway. I'm tempted to trash the whole thing in favor of a script that ftp's and unzips the files I need, because really, it should be that simple.

I tried the fixes I saw here, and nothing worked, but then when I had the same problem with WoWMatrix, it actually gave me the hint on how to fix it:
Go to your WoW install folder. It's probably under Program File (x86), and for me I play on PTR and retail, so I had subfolders.
You might have a "World of Warcraft Launcher.exe" file instead of WoW.exe. Make a COPY of the launcher file and name it WoW.exe.
The Twitch client should now see your game, and it shouldn't affect anything else. -

Guys you should put the World of Warcraft and Twitch App in the same Folder, that worked for me.
For Mac users try to put both inside Applications folder.
For Windows users try something like C:/User/ProgramFiles/ etc -

My WoW twitch experience was working on my desktop until I installed the twitch app on my laptop. Now neither can see any of my games at all despite doing all troubleshooting methods.

Still a problem in nearly July 2019!!! Please stop "updating" the client if all you're going to do is remove/hide functionality and break things. I desperately miss the old Curse Client.

Hey guys, I found the solution that worked for me. I found if you install the app where your WoW is installed then it will find it. The problem is they have it install in a different place
