Start minimized to system tray
Would like it if the Twitch app could start minimized to system tray.
I understand that this is the most important app I could have on my PC, but as it is now i close it to the tray every single time my PC boots.

We’ll be fixing this very soon.

Hey Twitch,
The removal of this option is stupid on so many levels.
1. Do you honestly think the only time I boot my PC is to look at my addons?
2. Do you honestly think I WANT to look at Twitch every time my PC boots?
3. Do you honestly think I won't uninstall you app because of this? (Hint: I will)
4. This change means it might be time for me to write an addon manager that isn't bloated and annoying - do you want that? Please fix, alternatively - I'll give you some market competition.

I only use the app for managing addons, please let it start minimized to system tray.

After checking the next update out, which I got just now, the feature is still not back. So it is bye bye twitch app now. I would suggest this to everybody.

Twitch should start minimized by default UNLESS there is an update for a mod ready for installation. That is the only scenario where I would be happy for it to open on startup.

I would also love the option for Twitch to start minimized.

I only use this for addons so have disabled auto start, miss the old curse client as this is bloated with stuff I have zero interest in, this is making me seriously consider moving to Minion to manage my addons.

I've disabled twitch startup. Next step is to uninstall it. I understand you're trying to monetize, but this is just an annoying change.

I agree that this needs to be corrected. I only installed the Twitch app when Curse was merged into it and I only use it to manage addons for games, so I don't want the window to be open. Just start minimized to the tray and do your job quietly in the background.

Same as everyone else, found this post after searching online as the Twitch App popping up every time I start PC is super annoying.
Disabled start with Windows option until fixed.

I am giving you the benefit of the doubt here, and assume someone made a mistake here and the option wasn't supposed to be gone. If this is the case it will be back in the next update of course. If it is not, well, you're clearly on some agenda and you will see more and more people uninstall your application. It's a basic option, really, there is nothing to debate here.

I've uninstalled. What a joke.

all that not having "minimize to system tray" has achieved is that I turned off the auto launch on startup feature, so now i often forget to launch twitch all together for sometimes weeks at a time, missing any twitch info or addon updates.

Like several others, I've disabled the twitch launcher on startup. Might consider turning it back on if it stops popping up on startup. It's new behavior is unacceptable.

I have disabled the app as well. Software that gets annoying gets disabled. Please return to not being annoying!

Please bring back "start to minimized to system tray at startup". I will disable this app on start up until its brought back ... its annoying to have to close it out every time i start my computer.
