Twitch Prime games should be claimable on Steam
A few of these games we have been getting are on the steam platform, but we have to download twitches own client to play them. For me I don't need another crappy client and it makes me pretty much see these games as void since most of them should just be steam key claimable. I know theres probably some legal issues on why this isnt happening or it might just be twitch trying to get us to use another client of their own.
Either way id rather see these games on a platform that most (to all) of us use and rather use on a daily basis. Makes the rewards actually usable.
Thanks and hopefully this is considered..
I agree with you because I would like to unlock achievements on steam
Agreed, just claimed a few games, but lost interest when I realized they had to be installed with another new client...
Hi! I have a lot of games on the Twitch App but i really want to play those games on steam. I see that you can add those games on non-steam games, but that is just a shortcut, i want to fuse the twitch games to steam account to gain the butches and trophies or achiviements in steam. If anyone know how to do it to, pls, write me.
For example, recently I played SteamWorld Dig, i want to play the 2 but i dont have it on steam. I go in Twitch app and there i hasve the dig 1, dig 2 and heist. I want to translate those game on steam to gain achievements and if it possible cards and gain the budget.
I would like it if we could choose which platform we want the game on, then they give us a key/download code to get it on that platform. I play on my switch, and recently, the Kings Bird came out for free, but I can't get it on my switch.
tbh a lot of online games dont work cuz they need the steam authentication
yeah, that's right
Eli Beach, if the game is already on Steam can we add it on Steam and get cards, achievements, and hours for it?

This is the most reasonable and relatable thing ever. Please Twitch, just give us a steam key, almost everyone who uses twitch, probably uses steam.

both big picture and steam link work work.
so, yes you can.

Locate the exe in your twitch\game libraries\big hash number folder.
note what icons are game icons.
go into steam.
Just click on the games and then add non-steam game.
navigate to said folder above and add the games.
looks like it also maintains saves as well.
ill test and see if it translates to big picture and steam link soon.
Was finally interested in some of the games that showed up here, just to figure out I need to install another launcher....
So thanks Twitch, but no thanks... I'll rather buy these games myself then
Please link them! I just got Pillars of Eternity from Twitch Prime want to see my hours played and my achievements!

Or at least have twitch and steam work together so you can use either launcher.
I agree completely, honestly I'll never play any of these games just because I have to install a new client to play them. I try to limit the amount of clutter on my hard drive I really don't need yet another game-launching client, and I have no desire whatsoever to watch Twitch through an unnecessary desktop app rather than through my internet browser.
I think the same, I'm very happy with steam client (linux) and don't need more
this a great idea.
