Good to use the app1 vote
If I click a Discord link, the Discord app opens.
If I click a Steam link, the Steam app opens.
If I click a UPlay link, the Uplay app opens.
If I click a Twitch link, my browser opens.
Please add a file type "twitch link" to Windows during the app install so that we can link the app to that file type in the bwoser settings.2 votes
Simple really, I would love there to be the ability to turn off hardware media controls within the Twitch application. I constantly listen to music while watching streams and when I use my media keys on my keyboard it not only pauses the music but also the stream which is annoying. I realize this is a very nitpick thing and I love the app overall but I would love that edition!
Just to provide a little more context: you can do this within chrome by going to chrome://flags/ and disabling the Hardware Media Key Handling flag for the web browser.10 votes
Yes THERE'S a bug for this. Dark mode disappears when double clicking (to minimize/restore) the Window title bar, please fix this.2 votes
There are more options to help manage my stream in the Dashboard in my internet browser. It would be great to have them in the Twitch Studio desktop app. Examples: Hosting, Raids, Stream health bar. ACCURATE viewer count.1 vote
1) Using Google Chrome version 88.0.4324.150 on desktop
2) Place mouse over follow/unfollow button
3) without clicking, remove curser from the button
Expected Behavior: The "Follow"/"Unfollow" speech bubble should appear when the mouse enters the button, and disappear when it leaves the button, as it does for the turn notifications on/off button.
Observed Behavior: The Speech bubble appears, but does not disappear until the mouse goes over another button.

Firstly, I have no audio, no matter how many past stream videos I try to play by streamers I follow. I operate on Firefox browser, its up to date. No, I don't use desktop app. Have no desire to.
Secondly, instead of having to come here to scream into the void; when being directed to the "contact us" page and when we select "general issue" why do you not have audio issues for playing past streams? its not about me, I don't even stream any more, or better yet, why not have a support page for NON streamers!1 vote
What you have right now is a great start but I feel like some important features are missing. As a new user, I find the app confusing, disorienting, and a little overwhelming when you look at it. I don't recall if there was a "Getting started" tutorial when I started Twitch for the first time, but if there isn't - there should be. Also, I'd really love and appreciate a way to view my user profile. As it stands I don't find it easy unless I type in a URL to do so, which is fine, but most programs have features like this.
As for the main page that pops up, perhaps revamping it to where it shows my profile picture, then streamers I follow (maybe thumbnail clips of recent streams below), and then showing my recent streams and such would be awesome. And then adding a line for featured somewhere in all that would be good I think. Would also give you the chance to create a little feature line for, "New Streamers" so they could get some love too.
I also did not expect that my stream dashboard (and many other features) would be completely separate from the app. That was really weird. It's not awful but just weird as I was expecting to access most of my functions and features within the app, not on a webpage. It feels a little clunky this way to me but I can manage.
The Creator Camp is a fantastic idea and has been helping me learn about a lot of the weird and new things twitch has to offer. So please keep working on that, it's awesome and I love the videos. I felt like a child stumbling around trying to figure things out at first until I found this.

Please provide native Apple silicon support for improved performance and battery usage.
It is pretty straight forward. Have the ability to create own playlists or favorites on Soundtrack by Twitch.
Didn't know exactly where to suggest this, so I went here.3 votes
It is possible to AirPlay a Twitch video stream from iOS to Apple TV. It would be great if the same could be done with the MacOS Twitch app.1 vote
For months now, when I start twitch the mods tab has had problems loading. This is what happens, I start twitch and click the mods tab and it just sits there with the loading icon spinning, at first I thought it was just plain broke because even after more than 20 min the tab would not show my modded games, closing the app and restarting my PC did not work, reinstalling the app did not work so I thought I was out of luck until the bug was fixed. After about two weeks it was still a problem so I started asking around and was told to just go back and forth between the different tabs until the mods list showed up, that does work, but to be completely honest spending anywhere from just a min to five min or more JUST trying to get to the mods tab to load so I can play my Minecraft modpacks is completed and utter . This has been a problem for months now and I know more than a few people who have sent in bug reports about it and its STILL not fixed, maybe its time to start fixing the existing bugs and problems before you go trying to make it “look good” and to add more useless .

How about a UI "addon" implementation on streams which will do this, Lets say i Stream dota and i play the game normaly , i can check the games UI whenever i want, skills, levels, etc, but can a viewer do it? :) . that must be a pain to apply woo!

If I pause a broadcast and then leave the room, I don't want a broadcast to be playing when I come back.
But there often is a broadcast playing when I come back because a raid happened.
If I'm paused before a raid, I should be paused after the raid too.1 vote
this has been ongoing since i joined and streamed on twitch, the servers need to be vastly improved on website, every stream i watch or try to stream to platform keeps lagging/crashing and auto tunes to 160p. i keep getting random errors ranging from unable to decod or not available on browser. i have tried many browsers and this happens on all. microsoft edge it the worst.
this is riduculus that this has not been addressed for so long.1 vote
Please allow users an option to hide or disable the "Check out your upcoming followed streams" section under "Following".
Personally I find this feature a complete waste of space because I don't need to be reminded of when the people I follow normally do their streams.
I know there are some ways that users can hide it while viewing Twitch in a web browser, but those of us using the Twitch application itself seem to be SOL.1 vote
