  1. Unsubscribe from Prime Loot Notifications

Most advertisements you get in emails at least give you the option to unsubscribe. I know what games and I'm not interested in free loot or whatever. The world has too much click bait already.

  2. Smart Notifications: Improvements

https://twitter.com/thundergod97/status/1038248476948213760 my twitter thread about this.

    1. Option to always send an email (obviously not everyone wants this so it should be an OPTION. I use email notifications as a history of when people have gone live. I also get push notifications of emails from that email address on my phone, so I can tell when people have gone live.

    2. Base it actually on ACTIVITY. If I have browser windows at home open to twitch that does not mean I am ACTIVE on twitch. You should be able to tell when I'm active because I'm chatting or I'm clicking around the site. If I'm using the app, send notifications there. If I'm using the site, send notifications there. If I'm not using anything....revert to email (but also see #1).

It just needs to be smarter. Since you implemented it the notifications have only either been going to my browser window at home, or my phone via the app. I'm not active in those 24 hours a day. I have received ZERO notifications in my email since you turned "smart" notifications on.

  3. Don't change my preferences

I have my preferences set as I want them. I don't need Twitch to change them for any reason. I have emails coming from who I am subbed to and I don't need Twitch changing that just because I haven't watched someone in awhile.

  4. Windows Action Center Notifications

It would be great if the Twitch Desktop app used standard Action Center notifications on Windows 10. Currently, if you miss a notification when it occurs, there is no way to see it again. If standard notifications were used, they would be recorded in the Action Center so you can see it later.

Additionally, because the current notifications are not standard, they do not obey Quiet Hours, which can interfere with current tasks.

  6. use a windows 10 app for notifications & Time/Schedule calender

I think it would be easier to have a windows 10 app not to watch the streams but just for notification when streams go live

    problems i face with current
Email - I only check it 2-3 times a day so i don't get those notification when the stream goes live
betterttv - it doesn't pop up on my computer all the time when a stream goes live

also with this you can add a Schedule calendar to the app
Streamers will add to there profile settings when they go live
    Monday [9am] to [2pm]
    Tuesday [9am] to [2pm]
    Wednesday [no stream]
    Thursday [8am] to [12pmm]
    Friday [9am] to [2pm]

only people who are following will see the times*

on the viewer side we can turn on/hide streamers calender's if we don't want to see the times

as well you can turn on/off notification to pop up on your windows 10 desktop maybe 8 as well since it has a store as well unless the coding is different

Also this way you can see streamers updated time change if they change it recently always up to date

  7. updates via notifications

My idea would need to be an option that streamers can turn on and off; basically when you get the notification on your phone that a streamer went live one of the options is 'Keep Me Updated on This Stream'. What this option would do is periodically send a text update (via notifications, text being the format not the means of communication) of what is going on in the stream. The streamer would likely need a moderator of sorts to actually fill out the data and then the service itself sends the update at an interval chosen by the streamer (that way it doesn't get too annoying and people know what they're signing up for). While this could be very simple to setup on phones I'm not sure how practical it would be for desktops/laptops.

The purpose of this idea is for those who are busy whether at work or school still want to be up-to-date on what their favorite streamer is doing, especially if streams often connect to previous ones. Another reason that personally applies to me is you could tell when a stream ends (that would be the final notification from the stream after hitting this option). I watch a few streamers in a different time zone and therefore have school sometimes during their stream times. If they stream for more than about 2 hrs though I usually have time to make it to the end of their stream. Instead of having to guess if its still going or not when I'm finally available to watch simply knowing 'I've been notified that it's finished' or 'no notification, it's still going!' would be very handy!
