Ads Incentive Program

We are launching a new ad program aimed at providing predictability for your ad revenue. How it works is that you stream for a specific number of hours — while running ads — in exchange for a flat payout. The goal is simple: help you earn a more predictable monthly income through ads, with no ceiling on earning potential. We want to help remove the guesswork of your monthly ad payout. We’ve built it on top of Ads Manager so it is easy to use. Just set your ad schedule and you are ready to go.

The Ads Incentive Program is available for select Creators in the Ads Manager section of your Creator Dashboard (as a note we are not currently accepting requests to join the program).

    I currently have Twitch Prime sub and gifted sub, and I am getting ads when loading in and when the streamer takes an ad-break. Did this AIP also mean that subs will now get ads?

    I feel like laying out the criteria for selection would make some streamers feel less ostracized. The whole he/she gets it and you don’t idea is a little discouraging to be honest. Streamers like me who have no other source of income would benefit from a program like this.

    I find the incentive amount offered to not be high enough for the degree of ads played per hour. I have the choice to either make viewers consistently suffer with ads or sometimes with sponsored streams. The amount needs to better plus some control like some of these comments have stated: if agree to 5 minutes of ads an hour, if I have manually played them myself due to natural break moments I would want the automatic ads manager ones to not pop off.

    This is a great idea if could be really open for ALL the affiliates and not only for a little group of them. Waiting to see how this evolve.

    This is a great idea; I hope I get the opportunity to be a part of this. I honestly feel as though it should be rolled out to partners only as of right now, simply because we don't get an increase percentage becoming partnered. A lot of us loose support financially once getting partnered. I think this will help a lot of us out that are on the road to "Making it".

    Would be nice if all People would get this Stuff and not only some streamers... Like all of your new stuff... It's like you have a class system among your streamers, beside Affiliate and Partner... No fun at all to be an unloved Affiliate...

    What it needs also is a way to activate a set of ads early as well.

    Sometimes, depending on the game, if you have a calm moment to rest, it would be a good time to get the ads out of the way so people dont miss anything too.

    I cannot test the snooze button without opting in and going live, so am not sure how long you can snooze a group of ads if there is something happening in the game. If this can be repeated over and over , (and triggered by mods) until the action is done, then we dont need anything to go early though.
