monetize clips / VODs / Highlights with banner ads I found myself watching vods of one of my favorite streamers, but I left to watch it on youtube so that he could get ad revenue. There should be a way to monetize pre recorded content too with banner ads and possibly gifting bits and subs directly to a clip/ moment/ vod/ etc.

Not over 9 ads Hey, can you not have 9 ******* ads every 5 mins when watching people. You guys are such sellouts you are going to ruin your own platform. You have already lost most of your big streamers to youtube. Feel like I'm watching the Superbowl halftime show every 5 mins with the number of ads you guys make us watch. Whoever came up with the idea to be this bad with the ads should be fired.

Automatically add a tag for streams with prerolls disabled Having an automatically added tag for any stream with pre-rolls currently disabled (through automatic ads or with the new automatic ads) would help drive discoverability towards those using this feature.
I feel it would also encourage more streamers to use the ads appropriately during low activity moments or when they take a break from the stream, thus also increasing revenue.
By having it as a tag that will be automatically added (and removed) it's easy to filter for streams that have the tag within a category. From conversations with my viewers, they would definitely be more willing to check out…

No Ad When Refreshing Stream Please turn off an automatic Ad when we refresh a stream. Because of various issues (sometimes in the Twitch side and sometimes on the user side) audio is not synced with the video. The only way to fix that is to refresh the stream. Each time I do that, I get an ad. It is really distracting and it really makes me not want to browse new streamers and content because unless I sub to them, I am constantly dealing with this issue.

Viewer incentive for watching ads This is only directed at viewers on desktop, I would assume.
Nevertheless, why not create some type of incentive for viewers to not use adblock or some other source? Main ideas that come to mind are either a small bits reward system like you had with "watching ads for bits" with somewhere along the lines of a monthly deposit. The only other thing I could think of to back this is some type of reduction in sub cost, even if this is minimal (I'd hope .50-$1 but that might be high hopes).

Running and ad upon entering a stream for 30 seconds is to be expected. Not running ads for 3 minutes every 5 to 10 minutes is gross Stop allowing ads to run every 5 to 10 minutes that last 3 minutes (1 of 8 or 9 ). I feel very annoyed along with others in the community about this. It will kill a streamers view counts

No ads for moderaters? I noticed in a recent stream that moderators that arent subscribed to the channel still experience blackout ads (ads that mute stream) i believe that this can hinder the job of a moderator, i know chat is still seen but there isn't necessarily communication with the streamer. this can create issues within streams. Either this option, or possibly free subs for currently promoted moderators.

PAY US i have YOUR ad schedule on my channel and after 8= hours of streaming i've made all of $0.68... whats this 55% when i don't even get 1% for running what you suggest... and $100 to cash out? why it's MY MONEY, sorry you have to pay some kind of fee, but you can cover it with all the ad revenue you dont give out.

Get more ads I am a streamer, I would like it if the streamers had more total ads. Not during stream but that they could pull from. I have "ran out" of ads. During my streams I keep getting "Commercial break in progress". I am not getting any ad revenue.

Provide a programmable interface to the ads manager. For me, the whole thing about the Ads Manager is being a fallback mechanism to ensure the preroll ads don't get turned on. As it is right now... it simply does not do that.
There's no fix for snoozing (not directly), but running a manual ad should not count against an ad that's scheduled after pre protection expires.
Really, though, the correct fix is to give us a programmable interface. My bot should be able to read the current settings, and modify it to whatever's necessary...

New Program Is Ruining Twitch Every streamer on twitch who isnt a Partner with the new revenue share, is complaining about the increase in ads lately. All of our conversations get interrupted.
If we run ads the prerolls stop for a bit but then the viewer gets a 6 part preroll ad after the cooldown. This is pushing people off twitch because no one can subscribe to everyones channel. Delay Ads After Asking A Question When looking for new streamers, it's common to interact with the streamer and ask questions, especially before subscribing. It would be great if ads were delayed after a user asks a question in chat. I was recently watching a streamer with 200-300 viewers while actively engaging with his chat. I asked a question and then as soon as he began responding, was given four ads. Personally, I see value in mitigating this. Let me know if you agree!

So advertisers pay money for the potential to attract customers. Stream display ads do not demand the viewers attention so they will never generate the same revenue for advertisers, meaning either more volume or that they will be combined with the ads we already hate.The Feature: Allow the viewer to choose what type of advertisements they receive, with parameters such as whether it is a followed stream, new(to the viewer) stream, and/or a specific game.

Feedback on adverts during streams Currently I am experiencing adverts quite frequently on streams even if I am subbed to streamers. Please can this be resolved as it is frustrating. I am even using an ad blocker because of how often adverts are on streams.
Here's some suggestions on how to improve this.
Please make subbing an actual perk by giving us ad free viewing. Some streamers may have this but some of us aren't so lucky.

Меньше реклам Очень много реклам, иногда смотря одну трансляцию приходится смотреть по 50 реклам, мы что телевизор смотрим? Это уже выбешивает, невозможно смотреть. Иногда сразу 9 реклам идёт по 20 секунд, и что самое главное в телевизоре вы хоть не пропускаете материал, а когда идёт прямая трансляция вы пропускаете довольно много времени, что приводит к потере сути происходящего, прошу это исправить, уменьшением количества реклам, хотя бы так чтоб была одна реклама за стрим, а не через каждые 10 минут. Я нахожусь в Германии. Пока я это писал, и параллельно смотрел твич, пришлось смотреть три рекламы за 10 минут. Ужасно.

Ad placement I love twitch. But when it comes down to listening to the action and having a conversation with the streamer and it is interrupted by an ad. It becomes abusive on Twitch's part. Perhaps if an ad was displayed at the bottom of the streamer's view portal (the player). that was stationary as the page was loaded in. It becomes a .jpeg. It is NOT a blockable item.
