Please fix this. It's ridiculous. Even on the lowest volume, the majority of ads are obnoxiously loud. It's really annoying trying to listen to a quiet streamer, too. Kind of puts me off watching them because of the ads. =/

Currently the ads that play are considerably louder than the content on Twitch. There must be a way for ads to be played at the same sound level (an average of the stream perhaps), as the stream.

Most of the ads on Twitch are obnoxiously loud, but I just had a UFC ad that was just ridiculous! I understand that ads are usually louder than the content (though this usually gives me a negative view on the advertised good or service) but the UFC ad hurt my ears so bad! I panicked and quickly pulled the wireless buds out of my ears but they were still ringing for hours after.

I'm sick and tired of ads scaring me half to death by instantly being far louder then the stream I was watching or listening to. It is ruining the experience for me as a viewer, and it is making me hate whatever is being advertised. No one benefits from this stupidity. You'd think ads were unpopular enough without this problem.

It's not just that the ad volume is high, the ad is setting the volume slider higher. When the ad is over and back to the stream, it is uncomfortably loud and then requires me to return the volume back to where I had it set.

Please lower the volume of the ads. I already have a tinnitus and I don't want it to get worse, by getting my eardrums blasted. The last comment was made in september and the ads are still really loud.

I had an ad for a Coke energy drink a few minutes ago, and my ears are still ringing. I can barely hear anything. I hope I have not suffered any lasting damage.

Hello. I am writing this concerning a video ad on Twitch, specifically one for an LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor. The advertisement video of this product has video scenes from a game, and to this plays EXTREMELY loud "fast" music, that starts with NO warning. I am autistic and have gotten several seizures when this specific ad comes on. If I'm not fast enough at ripping my earphones out of my ears when it starts playing. I understand that you might think this is silly, or my problem, as I can just turn down the volume.
However, all other ads I've seen on this website are a lot quieter in volume, it's just this one that sticks out. I also realize you probably can't change this now, or that you might think this issue lies with the company who made the ad (which it might), however I thought I should voice my concern. Hopefully you can take people who suffer from audio triggered seizures into the consideration in the future, when deciding what ads you allow to be played on your website,
regardless of who is "at fault" for this specific video advertisement. Perhaps you could add a warning before an ad plays?

Please adjust the volume of ads in streams and vods to the same level of volume of the according stream or vod. The ads are too loud at the moment, to point of hurting and maybe even causing permanent damage to the ability to hear as good as you should.

EITHER THIS WILL GET CHANGED WITHIN 1 WEEK OR I WILL TAKE THIS TO COURT. THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY TIME I WILL CONTACT YOU ABOUT THIS AND IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE THIS HURTFUL PAINFUL SETTING YOU WILL BE TAKEN TO THE COURT AND BE PUNISHED WITH A FINE. The volume of ads are twice the volume of the creators. I have the volume adjusted to here the creators and the in game sounds, and then during an ad break it blows your ear drums because it is so much louder during ads.

Can you please turn down some of the ad sounds? They have recently become so loud, they hurt in the ears!

Whenever I watch a live on Twitch and an ad starts playing I always jump since I always have headphones on and the ads are crazy loud. It makes me not want to go on Twitch anymore because the ads will probably make me deaf. Could you please turn the volume down on the ads. Especially on the Cold War ad. Thank you!

I wear headphones as to not disturb the people I live with, love twitch and I don't mind ads, but I have a problem when they come on and blast my ears drums. WHY! DOES THIS HAPPEN!

As a result I mute and vow never to buy anything from those ads, so it's having the opposite impact you guys are going for.

Your ads are incredibly loud and intrusive. I report the sound and the repetitiveness every time it happens and nothing has been fixed. At least go back to controlled ads.

Yes my user name is kinda dark so you can call me Brandon. So I assume that twitch doesn’t find this an important customer issue, but hey maybe they’ll start listening to their consumers soon. It is just ridiculous that I can be enjoying myself and then BEING YELLED AT BY SOME AD! Please stop blowing out our ear drums. I would like to hear from Emmett Shear about this and his plans to fix this issue. Thank you for your time and I look forward to his response to all of us.
