Announce upcoming ads in the chat
Add a feature where it announces upcoming ads in the chat as an optional feature so users can enable or disable it.
For people with 1 monitor like myself, I have no idea when ads are coming. I can talk though the ads (as they aren't short) and I have no idea no one can hear me.
I, and many others with a single monitor, use SLOBS chat overlay to see chat or other programs that overlay the chat.
If ads could be announced in the chat such as "ad coming in 10s" or something like that, the host could…

FIFA endorses and profits off of ***** labour in Qatar. I saw a FIFA ad. I won't be returning for at least 1 month.
Don't run ads from slavers like FIFA.

Ad???
I think if we all come together and oppose, the ads will go away. We don't like ads. Unnecessary. Waste of time. Too loud to impress. Disturbing. Router to Twitch alternative platforms.

Too many ads.
Ads are constantly playing every time I change publishers. It's getting annoying to watch the same ads over and over. Most of the time, when I'm bored, I go to twitch and when I click on the first broadcast, I immediately close twitch. I've been encountering advertisements a lot lately, now I use twitch less.

More adverts
Hi. I would really love it (being that you earn millions and are backed by Amazon with insane profits) if you would display even more adverts on your site. I mean, I like an advert - but what I really want is to sit through at least 5 minutes of adverts before even getting to watch a stream. Maybe also, and I know this is a big ask, but if you could stop a stream every other minute and show a minute of adverts too? That would be golden. Thanks.

Ads when first watching a new stream discourages exploration to new streams
Ads playing immediately upon trying a new channel is a bit frustrating. I usually just turn off Twitch and go to YouTube or somewhere else because of how Twitch does ads immediately upon attempting to watch a channel. Just letting you know that it's pretty invasive and I, personally, actively never purchase anything from an advertisement that annoys me... and your ads annoy me constantly because of their placement.

I am sick and tired of having French Ads
Just because I live in Canada, does not mean I speak that language. I heavily dislike that you guys force these horrible ads on us.

More display ads, less intrusion
An ad on twitch should never interrupt the stream unless it is triggered by the streamer themselves or scheduled. Display ads are much less intrusive.
The biggest change that one could make is running display ads through the channel should disable pre-rolls.
There should also be tiers of display ads, eg. A small banner at the bottom, a larger banner, and even a very large one where the stream is posted up in the corner, but audio should only be triggered if a user clicks on the ad.
I hear so many complaints about pre-rolls that people are leaving streams…

Ability to filter/opt out of triggering ads
I have intense anxiety and suffer from chronic nightmares; not being able to safely peruse twitch is greatly affecting my safety as a user. Add an option to filter/opt out of triggering ads, or at least implement a way to report distressing ads. This would improve the user experience for people with anxiety, PTSD, paranoia, and even those who prefer family friendly streams. Not having this as an option is ableist and alienating a large portion of your user base.

Stop with the incessant add.
Please for the love of anything, stop with the almost non stop add. It’s maddening. I will never use or pay for one of the product you advertise because of the way you advertise them.

Targeted Ads
Twitch really needs a targeted ad system. Advertisers pay more for targeted ads which could reduce the quantity of ads so twitch doesn't have the need to show viewers 3 or more unskippable ads in a row. Additionally it would help with being spammed with the same ads over and over again.

A reasonable solution to the issue of epileptically dangerous advertisements.
There are ads among us with so much flickering, strobe-lights, flashing and contrast switches, colour switches, rapid flash explosions, and ridiculously loud and sudden noises, that it becomes dangerous.
It is unfair to streamers when they can not control the ads that play, and then in their safe community someone gets hurt in their stream because of automatic random ads triggering epilepsy.
When someone is hurt or killed by ads in someone's stream, that streamer often takes on the unfair guilt when they learn of it later on from the person's friends or family.
Here is my solution:
