RE Scheduling Ads I do understand that Twitch needs the ads that run during the streams for revenue but I find the unpredictable timing of the ads to be very problematic.
I very much wish that I could schedule the ads to run at a regular time. My preference would be at a predetermined number of minutes before the bottom of the hour. If I knew that they were coming every hour at that time then I could plan accordingly. Whispered/quiet ads for ASMR content/streams would help everyone :) So instead of loud ads aimed at more extroverted individuals, allow or strike a deal with companies that create asmr-appropriate ads as they are becoming more commonplace. This would help all parties involved, companies can still profit, streamers won't have to feel guilty for ads that ruin the introverted experience of asmr, and viewers won't have to be rudely awakened from they meditative state with whispered or quiet-spoken ads. It's a win win win win if you are interested in that sort of thing. please and thank you ^.^

Ad placement deters users for the platform and needs changing Seemingly, nine times out of ten an advert will play the second you view a stream and I believe this strongly deters people from watching.
If I see a streamer enjoy and click their stream, I am all but guaranteed an advert before I even start watching. My general reaction is to immediately close Twitch and open Youtube or turn on the TV.

Ad volume synced to broadcast If a broadcast is tagged for ASMR, myself and many others believe that ad volume should be synced to the broadcast volume (or a standard low volume) as to not jump scare viewers. As a viewer and streamer, it is extremely off putting and a major deterrent. There has to be a way to fix this.

Ads on streams should not interrupt or obscure the twitch user surveys that pop up. I was attempting to complete a quick survey that appeared at the bottom of the stream I was watching full-screened. However, an ad that played during the stream caused the survey pop up to disappear. Making me unable to complete it by doing so. I'm not sure if it was simply a mistake or an issue on my side. Still though, I thought I should let you know.

Government safety ads I am from NZ, a small country, majority of the ad's I seem to get on here are government safety ads. These are covered in disgusting bloody bodies, that I am forced to watch like 20x a day.
I don't like this. Can we have some control on the level of disgust in the ads that I am forced to watch?
These ads were designed for TV, to be played after 8:30pm, only once per ad break. That is not happening on this platform. I want them removed or something, because this is getting disgusting. It too often.3 votes -
In the ad error reporting options, give us "I am subscribed and should not be seeing these" I am being shown ads to a channel I am subscribed to and have been instructed to report the ads that are shown as "playing too often".
How about giving us an actual choice for the actual problem, it would be so easy: "I am subscribed or have ad-free and am being shown ads".
That way you guys have actual useful information to fix problems with.

Why do i see adds on the stream from the streamer from Russia? I was looking for https://www.twitch.tv/voodoosh stream.
It was interrupted by 30 sec adds. Hint was saying that streamer taking a pause.Its is not true, stream was continuing as usual, because of the stream i missed the content.
I know that streamer will not get any money from the adds.Why do i see it all the time?

Allow streamers to cover ad revenue cost I've seen it listed before long ago, but I wanted to make sure it was known that it is still be wanted. Most streamers on this platform are very small, ads are a constant nuisance, and streamers are constantly trying to find ways around them with I know at least some (myself included) who refuse to accept affiliate or other because of the ads.
As such, the idea is the following: Have tiers where the streamer can pay to not have ads for the month. Simple.
