Do not promote Hogwarts Legacy
JK Rowling is a vocal transphobe and promoting Hogwarts Legacy enriches her, helping her further her anti-trans agenda. Please do not run ads for this game.

Let streamers purchase the ability to prevent ads from displaying
Ads disrupt the continuity of many streamers' broadcasts, e.g. a musician playing a song, a magician performing a trick, etc. So please implement a feature that allows streamers to prevent ads for all followers. You could charge a monthly fee. Many would gladly pay for this.
To other streamers up-voting this feature, please consider telling us what you stream specifically and how ads hurt the quality and continuity of your stream.

Streamers/Creators should be able to opt-out of military recruitment ads
Streamers should have the ability to opt-out of certain ads, particularly military recruitment ads. Some creators may have a younger audience. The streamer should reserve the right to protect that audience. The military ad complex is already vast and has deep roots within Twitch. If a streamer does not want that sort of content on their channel, they should be able to block it. Additionally, this option should be able to be seen publicly. Parents who check their children’s activity might want to be able to know a streamer opts out of Military recruitment ads targeted at minors.

Remove Inappropriate Ads
My friend just watched a vod and got an ad that made it seem like a kid committed suicide with their parent's gun. I'm assuming this was some kind of ad to promote gun control. Regardless of your political view, putting an unskippable ad with that kind of content is not something that should be allowed for a widespread audience.
Either those kinds of ads should not be allowed at all, or we should be given more control over what ads we would like to see on the platform.

Gambling ads shown to Finnish viewers, but they are illegal here
I, as well as some other users, have recently noticed that Twitch has started showing online casino advertisements to Finnish viewers.
Advertisement of any kind of lottery games or gambling is very strictly limited by law in mainland Finland, only being allowed for one government-owned company and only within very specific guidelines and situations. For example, any games that have a risk of causing addictions can only be advertised within the casinos themselves; never on TV, magazines, outdoors etc.
These ads come up on nearly every stream as pre-rolls if I view them in an incognito window, regardless of whether…

Option to disable ads entirely
To keep it short, let streamers disable ads entirely.
Not all streamers want to make money off of streaming, but with all the fun interactive stuff (channel points, emotes) locked behind affiliate and thus - monetization - some streamers feel like they can't do much unless they make the leap.
But, naturally, smaller streamers can't really grow an audience if they're either A) stuck rolling pre-rolls or B) Have to manually run ads themselves. I'm sure you've seen enough complaints about pre-rolls and mid-rolls that I don't need to elaborate.
The Stream Display Ads were a nice idea.... but since…4 votes -
Stop Ads During Earthquake News Streams/Streamers
Right now, we're dealing with the biggest natural disaster that happened to our country. Since we're living in a country with media blockage, Twitch is one of the few social media sites where we can get real news, especially for persons like me who are trying to figure out what's happening in foreign countries. When I'm trying to understand if my citizens are safe, I'm getting 3+ ads at least 3 minutes long. Please stop it for a while, at least.

Ability to filter/opt out of triggering ads
I have intense anxiety and suffer from chronic nightmares; not being able to safely peruse twitch is greatly affecting my safety as a user. Add an option to filter/opt out of triggering ads, or at least implement a way to report distressing ads. This would improve the user experience for people with anxiety, PTSD, paranoia, and even those who prefer family friendly streams. Not having this as an option is ableist and alienating a large portion of your user base.

Audio ads
Audio ads less disruptive. I am never going to reply to an ad, I am FORCED to listen to dozens of times. I already buy cheetos, I shouldn't have to listen to that music countless times an hour. It makes me mute ALL ADS. Find another revenue stream. It is ******* people off.

Ads when first watching a new stream discourages exploration to new streams
Ads playing immediately upon trying a new channel is a bit frustrating. I usually just turn off Twitch and go to YouTube or somewhere else because of how Twitch does ads immediately upon attempting to watch a channel. Just letting you know that it's pretty invasive and I, personally, actively never purchase anything from an advertisement that annoys me... and your ads annoy me constantly because of their placement.

GO Train Ad, insensitive for people with eating disorders. I suffer from bulimia and dont want to see and hear people vomiting.
I live in Toronto, Ontario. I am 25 years old and have/had suffered from bulimia in my lifetime. I do not feel like is a unique issue, especially considering the demographic on this website. I do not know why or how, the GO Train ad go approved for this website. I would really appreciate not seeing that while I am trying to feel comfortable and safe.
The ad is just very insensitive for people with eating disorders. It is also a known fact that hearing or seeing other people vomit, induces vomiting. Why would that ad be made then, what…2 votes -
Can we be allowed to block certain types of ads?
I am a former Alcohol abuser and I really don't appreciate the recent trend of literally every collection of ad's for some of my streams contain ads for alcohol. It seems 1, like a waste of ad space for me, and 2. an annoyance and reminder of a temptation i don't want or need.
It would just be nice to be able to just block ads for drugs/alcohol.

Just saw 16 ads in 10 minutes. Figure out a way for streamers to have add with less interference for future followers/subscribers
As rich as Amazon is you do not need commercials as much as you show them in streams and obviously your not going to get rid of ads. Find a way to show ads where it will not interrupt stream watching. Maybe a tiny box with an ad in stream where is someone is interested in the ad they can click on it. This way you get a true click number for you data. But I guarantee you that your numbers will be low because people cannot stand commercials. Watching these ads pop up ****** people off . Why do…

Oxfam
I supose thats this problem is only in my country. Im form Spain and today I saw several ads about a supposed NGO called Oxfam. This company has had legal problems for abuse, harassment and intimidation in the Congo.
Everyone can make mistakes, but I don't want to see ads from companies asking people for money to help others and then sexually abusing the most vulnerable.1 vote -
Remove gambling ads from twitch
So Twitch banned gambling (which I do think is a reasonable thing to ban), yet they continuously show gambling ads which include slots (one of the main gambling activities they banned). If slots and gambling are so bad for Twitch, why do they continue to accept money from these corporations and display their ads on their website? What double-standard garbage is this? I know Twitch doesn't have the spine to decline the money they get from gambling companies, so this will never change. I'd love to hear the explanation from Twitch as to why streamers showing gambling is bad, but…
