Ads are fine, but shoving the same add down my throat makes me never want to buy the product.
Run a check and see how many times you've shown me the same audible ad it must be around 50 times. please make sure there's a variety of ads. or a means after like showing me it 3-5 times to ask for a different ad as I'm clearly not interested in buying it and you could be advertising me things I actually want to buy.

Remove ads for modererator so us streamers can have 100%
remove ads for mods as we can have 100% conversation option if mods are not sub. then they do not have to wait for 4-6 commercials to hear what streamers say

Let streamers automatically Trigger sponsored stream or AD Message on overlay with an #Ad tag
*not sure the right category, so posting it here, this is a link between ads and tags
Often creators do sponsored streams, perhaps its content from the twitch bounty board, or casino, slots, sponsored stream, a creator codes, etc.
If we had the option to TRIGGER an automatic overlay by using an AD tag or check a box on our creator dashboard before going live if part of our content is sponsored.
When we have AD breaks on our stream we get a prompt saying "Catch username right now after this ad break; stick around to support the stream!"
If…

Ad Running Alert in Stream Manager
As a streamer, it is incredibly frustrating to be in the dark about when ads are being run. Please add a feature to the stream manager that includes a countdown when the ads are running so that streamers can see both when they are being run and how much time left until they are finished. As it is, I have to rely either on my chat or have an incognito window up (which takes up valuable monitor space) just to be aware of when ads are running because they are not perfectly consistent with the schedule set in the ad…

postpone ads
I'm sure everyone is aware of the ads that randomly pop up everytime when your streamer is saying something important or whenever something crazy happens. I have 2 ideas to fix this: #1 you would get a 10 second window before an the ad block would appear and in the 10 second window you could choose to postpone the ads by let's say 1 minute. #2 the stream could pause for the entire duration of the ad block and then would resume after the ads where it left off with a button at the bottom of the stream that would…

Chat banner for when streamer is playing ads/on break
I know ads has been a big "hot topic" for Twitch in the recent years. And I think Twitch has failed to incentivize streamers to play ads.
I know many streamers who try to go on breaks to play ads, but some people who enter the stream for the first time may not realize if the streamer is afk while sitting through ads. And sometimes the ads are 6-9 ads in a row (possibly from the streamer running an ad for 3+ minutes and whatnot at that time). The chat is cleared when people first arrive in streams, so even…

Let Subscribers Choose If They See Ads or Not
Right now Partners and Affiliates have the ability to give their subscribers 'ad free viewing'. I think subscribers should be able to opt-in to watching ads on a channel their subscribed to even if the channel has 'ad free viewing' turned on for subscribers.
There's not many ways you can have an ad feature that is a win for everyone involved, but I think this is one of those ways. For Twitch:
- More ads watched on their site. For Streamers:
- More ad revenue, while also keeping 'ad free viewing' as a perk for those who want to subscribe.…

Why not reward people
People should get a reward for a set number of adds viewed fully on twitch say 2 free subs for a gold member who views a target amount in a time period
Would get your add revenue up loads3 votes -
Help us choose a channel to raid more wisely, No ads for the streamer looking to raid.
This happens multiple times a week: I am ending my show. I am the performer but I want to choose somewhere to raid smoothly, as a gift to my community and to the streamer. I have 20-120 viewers, so I want to make it count.
I click around to my followed channels to check out what each one is doing. Perhaps a music stream is playing games. Perhaps a vintage stream is doing a special event techno set. It's important for me to listen to what 2-8 channels are like as I am simultaneously keeping my audience engaged.
But it's…

allow user to signal the ad is for a product they are not interested in
So that for instance if in my tastes i dislike, say, ed sheeran i can signal that dropping multiple ads about it in a row is hurting my experience to the point i'm leaving doing something else.
I'm otherwise not that annoyed by the occasional ad, esp. about something new.Feature could be made available after showing a certain count of the same ad

Bit raffles
It would be AWESOME if you could give streamers the ability to give Streamers the ability to roll a few ads, and at the end of the ads gift out varying size Bit gifts. It would be a great way for streamers to give back and also potentially receive a kick back from bits won. Viewers/followers and subscribers could have different gifts available based on the tier they are in, and I really think it could be a fun way to engage/reward and grow back some of the loss felt from the bits for ads program that ended.

Maximum ad count per mid-roll customization
There have been a number of times where I'm watching a specific streamer who has natural ad breaks within their stream (like a scheduled ad break you would see on TV) but the mid-roll randomization ad count sometimes goes over their 2-3 minute time allotment and I end up missing content.
If a streamer has natural ad breaks built in to their stream allow that streamer to control the maximum number of ads in a given mid-roll break and/or the ability to set a maximum time ads will play to avoid viewers missing content.

Selective ad punishment
Give mods and streamer ability to give specific users an ad break.
Limit it only to three times before real ban.
Reasoning:
sometimes users will say dumb stuff in chat and/or something offensive instead of banning (which just causes user to make a new account or wait etc) make them watch an ad. Can be a minor punishment. And also can be a reward to spend channel points on. Give another user an ad break could be fun. However this will make channels toxic in some cases so maybe have it as a feature toggle that a streamer can enable…

Free Bits
Reward small amount of bits (1-10) to viewers for watching a streamer for a certain amount of time, and add the bits to their inventory. Ex. If you watch Twitch Rivals for 30 minutes straight, you get 5 bits, and so on for longer watch times.

Automatically play ads when stream is static
Make it an option to play ads while your stream is static (meaning the streamer is not at the computer) This would be a great way for streamers to remove pre-rolls without sacrificing any content for the viewers watching.
How it would work: Twitch detects a static screen in a channel with the settings enabled. It then sends out a 30 second ad (Configurable by the streamer) The streamer comes back with a happy audience and with pre-rolls disabled for newcomers.
I'm no developer but I'm sure there's a drop in bitrate used whenever the screen is static, there's also…

Ad volume slider
Consumers need control over volume.
On 5% speaker and the lowest setting on Twitch audio bar, ad volumes still instantly destroy my Twitch experience.
I have left not 5, not 10, but over THIRTY streams in the past two weeks because I was unwilling to listen to MAX VOLUME ADVERTISEMENTS.
Pre-stream "you must go deaf before you qualify to watch a guy play lullabies on guitar" ads are a horrid experience. I wanted something to lull me to sleep, not a referral to a otolaryngologist.
