  2. Twitch always worked on the volontary participation of viewers to support streamers. Nowdays streamers are blackmailing viewers by the new trend which is "without ads i'll be not here streaming, so if you do not want ads: subscribe."

I think to keep the spirit of Twitch, which is encouraging viewers to volontary supporte streamers and not forcing them, we should be able to turn ON or OFF the advertisings aggression for each stream. This way, each viewers can decide to support or not a stream.

Imo, ads are the worst things you can experience on a plateform. Who like watching…

  3. Please fix where ads play when you raid somebody right at the start it’s honestly pretty disrespectful from twitch to allow this to happen and destroy first impressions

  4. I would like the distributor to notify me that an ad is playing.

Sometimes I am talking to someone who is not subscribed, but the conversation is interrupted by an advertisement and I cannot get through.

  5. Nearly everyone that uses YouTube knows about YT Premium because it can appear as an ad in an ad break or when you open the app on mobile sometimes, yet almost NO ONE knows about Twitch Turbo in comparison which is nearly identical to YT Premium. I was wondering if you could advertise Twitch Turbo in one of the randomly selected ads and/or somewhere else on the site in a sidebar ad for example.

  6. When looking for new streamers, it's common to interact with the streamer and ask questions, especially before subscribing. It would be great if ads were delayed after a user asks a question in chat. I was recently watching a streamer with 200-300 viewers while actively engaging with his chat. I asked a question and then as soon as he began responding, was given four ads. Personally, I see value in mitigating this. Let me know if you agree!

  7. The Situation: Advertisements are inevitable. Revenue needs to be generated and if the consumer isn't paying out of their own pocket then someone else must. So advertisers pay money for the potential to attract customers. Stream display ads do not demand the viewers attention so they will never generate the same revenue for advertisers, meaning either more volume or that they will be combined with the ads we already hate. The Feature: Allow the viewer to choose what type of advertisements they receive, with parameters such as whether it is a followed stream, new(to the viewer) stream, and/or a specific game.

  8. Currently I am experiencing adverts quite frequently on streams even if I am subbed to streamers. Please can this be resolved as it is frustrating. I am even using an ad blocker because of how often adverts are on streams.

Here's some suggestions on how to improve this.

    1. Please make subbing an actual perk by giving us ad free viewing. Some streamers may have this but some of us aren't so lucky.

    2. Have an option to skip adverts. Youtube does this already so why can't this happen on Twitch. Having to waste around 2 minutes per ad viewing with each…

  10. Run a check and see how many times you've shown me the same audible ad it must be around 50 times. please make sure there's a variety of ads. or a means after like showing me it 3-5 times to ask for a different ad as I'm clearly not interested in buying it and you could be advertising me things I actually want to buy.

  11. remove ads for mods as we can have 100% conversation option if mods are not sub. then they do not have to wait for 4-6 commercials to hear what streamers say

  12. Reward small amount of bits (1-10) to viewers for watching a streamer for a certain amount of time, and add the bits to their inventory. Ex. If you watch Twitch Rivals for 30 minutes straight, you get 5 bits, and so on for longer watch times.

  14. As a streamer, it is incredibly frustrating to be in the dark about when ads are being run. Please add a feature to the stream manager that includes a countdown when the ads are running so that streamers can see both when they are being run and how much time left until they are finished. As it is, I have to rely either on my chat or have an incognito window up (which takes up valuable monitor space) just to be aware of when ads are running because they are not perfectly consistent with the schedule set in the ad…

  15. I'm sure everyone is aware of the ads that randomly pop up everytime when your streamer is saying something important or whenever something crazy happens. I have 2 ideas to fix this: #1 you would get a 10 second window before an the ad block would appear and in the 10 second window you could choose to postpone the ads by let's say 1 minute. #2 the stream could pause for the entire duration of the ad block and then would resume after the ads where it left off with a button at the bottom of the stream that would…

  17. People should get a reward for a set number of adds viewed fully on twitch say 2 free subs for a gold member who views a target amount in a time period
Would get your add revenue up loads

  18. Right now Partners and Affiliates have the ability to give their subscribers 'ad free viewing'. I think subscribers should be able to opt-in to watching ads on a channel their subscribed to even if the channel has 'ad free viewing' turned on for subscribers.
There's not many ways you can have an ad feature that is a win for everyone involved, but I think this is one of those ways.

    For Twitch:
    - More ads watched on their site.

    For Streamers:
    - More ad revenue, while also keeping 'ad free viewing' as a perk for those who want to subscribe.

  19. This feature request that I'm sharing is that Twitch should make a program for Twitch streamers to promote their channel. Instead of regular ads on the time, you get Twitch streamers. To order to get an ad, the streamer has to pay once a month to order to get their introduction ads out there. This feature should be open for every streamer, affiliate, or partner. Big or small. This Twitch streamer could be used ad banners or a normal 15-30 sec ad. The Twitch streamer has to introduce themselves, what type of content they do, show quick glimpses of their…

  20. This happens multiple times a week: I am ending my show. I am the performer but I want to choose somewhere to raid smoothly, as a gift to my community and to the streamer. I have 20-120 viewers, so I want to make it count.

I click around to my followed channels to check out what each one is doing. Perhaps a music stream is playing games. Perhaps a vintage stream is doing a special event techno set. It's important for me to listen to what 2-8 channels are like as I am simultaneously keeping my audience engaged.

    But it's…
