Email My Subs Disabled
We are aware that the “Email My Subs” feature allows creators to send content that violates our TOS. To provide the community the tools to help keep them safe, we are temporarily disabling the service while we upgrade it with the safety and moderation features we expect in all creator and viewer touchpoints.
We would like to take this opportunity to hear your ideas around making this feature either safer or more effective! Leave your comments below.

You could include a link at the bottom of the email to report the any content that violates TOS. You could also use AI to automatically scan images, and flag them for manual checks (like Discord does with images, albeit with many false positives). Banning certain website domains is likely not going to stop the problem, as people can always use custom links, but if it's possible to scan links (and redirects), that could help. Really unfortunate this happened 3 days before my birthday subathon :( Will this be up again before the end of the month? Or minimally before 30 days?

Will this be back soon? We want to thank our subs for the support before their subscription expires. As a small streamer this tiny gesture could make or break them resubbing!

This is really frustrating that you're disabling it for this long. These are people who pay their hard earned money to support what I do and I think it's important for us to stay in touch.
Many of my subscribers said they love getting emails from me notifying them of stream time changes and additional streams. I email them maybe 3 times a month on average. I sometimes give out really cool downloads and other perks just for subscribers. It has been a very helpful feature. Please bring it back sooner than 3 months! Thank you. -

Send a message to those who, for example, have subscribed to the channel for more than 1, 2, 3 years. You can also make a division for subscribers by level and send a message to a specific subscriber. And yet, you can make sure that when I send someone in a personal message to someone, then he will have a notification in the mail. Thank you.

shame this has to happen. I used this to notify those about charity events. but not sure how to improve this without others breaking TOS

An actual well thought out idea, bravo Tamsin!
Sub emails are a very under utilised resource & many don't know that this is available to them.
With a few tweaks here & there (such as the ones suggested by Tamsin), this could be a powerful tool for streamers to use to better engage with their viewers. -

Sub emails are a great way to reach out to those who continue to support you but may not be able to make it to every stream or watch every VOD.
Sub emails are a very under utilised tool and I believe with a few added features it could really excel a content creators channel.
The two features I would like to see incorporated are scheduling emails (not repeatable) and drafts. For example, I'd like to send a customised monthly email on the 1st of everyone month around the same time. Having drafts would also be a good way to add ideas on the go.
The purpose isn't to spam subs (and if you didn't you'd probably lose subs) but to engage.
p.s. it'd be really nice to have the extendy thing in the corner of this box so I can see everything I've typed at one :)

I had been gifted a sub to a streamer and have been receiving frequent, countless emails promoting a sale on their OnlyFans and Patreon. I would be fine with maybe one or two emails over the course of the month I was gifted the subscription but an email every other day is overkill and should not be happening. I have since unsubscribed from the email replies twice now but still receive them. I believe the amount of emails partners can send to ALL subscribers should be limited and should be filtered to make sure the content they are sending in these emails isn't promoting anything that would be against the TOS that would apply to their on platform use. Also there should be something added, either directly on twitch or in the emails we are sent, for when we want to report someone for something involving the content of the emails.
