Sorry to hear you're having issues updating your display name to Japanese characters.
Please keep in mind that you can only update your display name in this sense – changing your display name to localized Japanese characters will not result in a name change.

actually check reports a streamer i watch was just instabanned for hateful conduct due to a falsereport by a viewer who got timed out for harassing the mods in chat.
nobody checked that report, because it took 2minutes after the user got timed out for the streamer to be banned.if someone actually checked the video, they would have seen nothing of that sort was done, but i guess twitchmods just dont have time for that...
its sad twitch, real sad.

I think Twitch Channel Page should give me my real gamer tag name name Marvel_ice. Ideally because I am the original established 2008! It’s very bizarre that I simply can’t put my name as marvelice when it’s Always been my gamer tag name & this particular name has no controversial meaning. I’ve legitimately had that name since the beginning of consul multiplayer (2008). Being established & dominant in different titles in online gaming plus achieving platinums in various games in different categories since 2009 also helps the idea of changing my name back to marvelice. If u read though this all I appreciate you & I hope you understand where my idea is coming from. Have Nice Day!

Cannot loggin on Opera anymore Since yesterday, septembre 22, I cannot log in my account on Opera browser.
It always tells me "Something went wrong"
I changed my password, same message.I tried to use Chrome, and I cannot access my stream manager or my soundalerts dashboard either. So basically making it impossible to stream at all.

Login failure on mac and linux version of Firefox Twitch refuses to log in from mac and linux versions of firefox, fix it, please.
When logging in on firefox 104.0.2, it says "Something went wrong" please try again. doing the same on chromium results in successful login, please fix this.

Change mask for subscriber badge Paid subscriptions are a way to monetize both Twitch and streamer.
Subscriptions have tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3. Each level has a certain motivation for a person to subscribe for a fee. Moreover, the higher the subscription level, the higher the degree of motivation should be.
One of the motivations is to stand out in chat. Twitch offers a mask for levels 2 and 3 that overlays on top of the sub badge itself.
Now the crux of the problem ... The site's functionality implies that ONLY ONE layer will be used for all months of subscriptions.

Block specific channels I'd like to have easy access to block certain channels from appearing in categories, especially when filtered. There is currently no way to block or, at best, hide channels. For recommendations this is possible, however, not when simply browsing streams.

To remove a channel, click on the "⋮" icon below the channel and select "Not interested". This should keep the channel from reappearing when browsing.
