IOS Screen Capture Push notification/Overlay feature?? Push notification/widget for follow alerts, subscriber alerts, overtop of other apps, so that if we are distracted by the game while streaming on IOS, and possibly chat notifications also, so that streamers can see what their chat is saying without having a second device. This could also be used for donations, hosts, raids, bits. As long as the chat message isn’t too long, it should work for that also, but most streamers, would likely be happy to have the notifications for the follows, subs, etc, and still use a second device for chat, but that way for smaller streamers, they…

Twitch is broken After the last update on IOS if i want to type a message it doesn’t open the keypad and Twitch remains still, the image is blocked

Advertisment timing/too many ads Usually whenever i pressed on some streamers, the advertisment always coming out on the best part/or interested part in the stream. The following solution for it is: either make it shorter like 10 or less. Or just rotate it whenever the stream ends his/her stream. I always missed the interesting parts due the too many ads to be honest and even longer ads which is really annoying. Please look at the advertisments durations and the time it showed up. Picture-in-picture Unable to minimize the player in the app without the player automatically going to picture-in-picture mode.
I have “start PiP automatically” DISABLED in my iOS settings.
Used to work like: when a stream is open normally, you could swipe down and the stream would go to a mini-player at the bottom of the screen.
Now: doing the same thing transitions the player to picture-in-picture, which I do not want.
Please resolve by reverting back to the previous functionality, or adding a setting to let the user choose which functionality they prefer.9 votes -
Siri Voice Commands on iOS/iPhone/iPad Please add support for Siri voice commands, such as Rewind and Fast Forward, when watching videos on demand. For example, “Hey Siri, Rewind 30 seconds”, or “Hey Siri, Fast Forward two minutes.”
Currently that can only be done with on-screen buttons but the app doesn’t support those Siri commands. Siri responds with “Sorry I couldn’t go back” or “Sorry I couldn’t skip this”. A good example of how this SHOULD work is the native iOS Podcasts app.

Chat button for iOS I’ve noticed when people stream off android they have a button to view chat. There is no such thing for people streaming on IOS. Suggesting we get the same feature on iOS, so we don’t need an additional device just to view our chat

Play stream without stopping music app audio I would love an option for a stream to play but not take over the iOS media audio stream. For example, in the Discord and Reddit apps, if a video is played, its audio will play at the same time as whatever is playing through iOS's background audio!
This way we can watch streams and still listen to our own music

Overlay button ( On - Off ) Please add a button for the overlay on screen ( On - Off ) Button .. the overlay is so annoying on phone it must be optional not a must for the users, Like for me personally I prefer watching on full screen without any distractions, I can’t enjoy the streams anymore on phone from the overlay on screen ( Chat, Bits, etc. )

Mobile app improvements The mobile app sucks never lets you perform any actions such as unfollowing someone, blocking a user, claiming channel points, redeeming channel points, updating settings, etc. It crashes frequently as well.
Admin audit: Removed unnecessary, negative commentary.

Currently unable to comment When watching on IOS mobile, I am currently unable to comment when switching from full screen to chat mode. It has been this way for 3 days and I’ve seen numerous others notate this same issue. I want to bring as much attention to this as possible as it is basically unusable atm.

After the last update, sometimes after minimizing the stream screen (which should go to the corner), it disappears, leaving only the audio. Just for your awareness of the bug.

Organize Followed Streamers A way to organize followed streamers by categories, favorites, or however a person wishes would make the Twitch app so much easier to use. This especially applies to channels that are live. I follow 300 channels, 30-40 are live at any given time, but I only watch 10-15 consistently. I want to be able to see those without the clutter of the other B or C list channels on my list.

Twitch app, mobile - Filter by Language While using the iOS App, I always have to type in the language tag manually letter by letter to search for a stream in my language.
When I go back to another category, I have to type in the language again.I wish that it will be changed to how it is in the webversion
- that I set a language ones and all streams in that language are shown until I remove the tag + languages should be searchable tags in the App.

BUG REPORT!!! Every time I go to a streamers chat, or even look in the search bar for another channel, after about two minutes of running the mobile app, the app will freeze and then crash. Even when I close the app out of my background, and completely restart it, still the same thing. Please fix.!!

Stream Randomly Crashes App Re: Twitch iOS App v17.0
I have encountered app completely crashing back to iOS Home Screen multiple times and app needing to be reloaded to continue watching stream after most recent update.
I have also had to previously report via stream that entire screen (not just video) will suddenly freeze while still hearing audio from stream, and when exiting app; audio for stream will continue to play outside of app for how ever long stream was previously buffered by app.
Note: Issue has occurred using an iPhone 8 Plus 256GB (iOS 16.7.2) and not due to low battery power, as…

Unwatchable iOS app leaves streams unwatchable. Streams stutter and skip, or randomly just pause stream every 5 to 15 minutes. This happens both on Wi-Fi and mobile data, it makes using the app infuriating

Fix the casting on mobile I’m on my phone and chromecasting to my tv. But for some reason the volume I have on my phone will lock to what I had when I started casting. So going to other apps while casting is very annoying because the volume is locked to what you want the tv to be on. YouTube has a smother casting experience and I would like twitch’s to be better
