Make whisper window not fullscreen
On mobile, when watching a stream either on portrait or landscape mode, chat will go on the right side or underneath the video and I'll be able to both watch the stream and read the chatroom, and even write on it as the app manages to find room for the keyboard, the chatroom and the vid altogether.
Still on mobile, if I want to whisper while watching a stream, the whisper window will occupy the entirety of the screen, and I won't be able to keep an eye on the stream while whispering.
I don't really get why it goes like this, because usually, chat will go faster than 1to1 whispering, and would require more space to still be "readable". So, if chat can go that small, whisper window could too.
If it's a matter of "we don't want to get people confused about 'where will the text they are typing be sent'", I believe there are many combinable solutions, like a very light purple background color for the whisper window; no more confusion.
It may look like not much of a problem, but I've been creating interactive game shows and in order for the games to work free from cheaters, audience must answer questions by whispering to a bot – but the countdown is on screen! I'd like people to be able to whisper and glance at the timer at the same time.
