  1. Give us the ability to limit playback quality while on mobile data in settings. For those of us who watch frequently on both wifi and data, it'd be nice not to have to manually switch stream quality when we go from one to the other.

  2. Have an option for the creator to set the output resolution for mobile users by default to a lower resolution.

When I refer people to twitch to warch my stream from mobile they give up and say the stream is choppy or lagging because the auto feature always does the highest resolution instead of a default lower resolution.

I would rather the output resolution be 480 at first and not have them give up on the stream because 1080 doesn't work well with phone service. The auto option doesn't work well it seems.

  4. It would be nice to have the ability to pinch to zoom while streaming. This would give the streamer the ability to zoom in a subject while they're out streaming in the world. Allowing them to draw focus on said subject without getting physically closer. I.e. if you want to show off some birds, without scaring them.

  5. It will allow me to block Twitch Streamers on Mobile, but won't do it on the PC, so instead it allows only on PC to "Report" and there is nothing to report to have the option to remove that Twitch Streamer, and also the "Recommended List"

  6. Since I play on my couch (and only have one monitor) I'd like to have the functionality of the desktop stream manager on my mobile device. Essentially, I'd like to be able to raid channels, see the ad timer, and so on from my mobile device. Also, I'd like to be able to run my stream manager from mobile horizontally. Don't know why it's locked vertically.

  7. Twitch should make a Tab or seperate app similar to TikTok/Youtube Shorts where you scroll on random Twitch clips on the site picked by an algorithm made for you. Would help people stay on Twitch because you could discover new people easily.

  8. A clips section in every category on Twitch, you can swipe up or down to travel between clips. Clips can be rated through a slider on the side. I think this feature would be great for not only streamers, but normal Twitch users as well. This short clips section would have its own place aside from streams, for example: Top rated clips would have their own space in the main Twitch page.

  9. Allow us to sub on mobile for the same price as on the desktop. There should be no reason this wasn't how it was on release.

  10. Stream uptime should be visible on mobile too, at the moment it's only on desktop and web as far as I know.

  11. It would be great if the twitch mobile app internally recorded the audio along with the mic; as well as being able to open a camera for your face. I have to rely on using other apps that crash constantly because they are poorly made.

  13. This may have been mentioned already and sorry if it has, but having a Twitch Studio mobile app would be fantastic for native streaming and not having to use the Twitch app or Streamlabs just to stream.

For the future of course I'd love for the app to have every feature from the desktop version, but just a simple app outside of the Twitch app to stream from would be great.

  14. I’ve noticed when people stream off android they have a button to view chat. There is no such thing for people streaming on IOS. Suggesting we get the same feature on iOS, so we don’t need an additional device just to view our chat

  16. When browsing on mobile, i have to reset my language tag EVERY new category i look through. It would be great if they would stay, just like on Desktop site. I only speak/read English and having to trudge through searching for English can get very tiredsome and eventually i give up and don't even watch anything until i get back to my PC.

Also, why 2 English tags, with no distiction between them. I understand one is Brittish/UK English and the other American English, but they both only say "English". There's really not much difference between the 2 either and…

  17. when I'm streaming as myself, the mobile app understands this and will put me in a more manager than viewer mode as soon as I start up. There is a super cool feature where you can send an invite to others who can stream for your organization. So if the key tied to my twitch account is streaming for an organization, it would be cool if starting the twitch app put me in my editor or moderator role, rather than playing my own voice back at me.

  18. I would like a button to be on a channels page using the mobile app to host channels. Many times when exiting IRL streaming it can be difficult to host other streamers with unique names.

If I could close down my stream and browse twitch to find a channel and hit the host button on their channel that would help a lot.

I ended my stream the other night and kept having to go back to my channel and typing in host(name) to only have spelled the name wrong multiple times.

  19. So this is actually genius. When you enter pip and look at the icons in the window there’s usually the pause button and fast forward and rewind 15 buttons. There’s this indicator under the rewind 15 button that says live. This indicator should actually be a button that allows us to get right back to live status in a stream just in case we have fallen behind by the stream being paused since we can’t just fast forward to live.
