Hide playback bar when pausing in full screen Right now when you pause a full screen VOD on desktop, the playback bar and controls remain visible even if you move your mouse out of the window, whereas they disappear when not paused. Please update this so that the playback bar and controls disappear when paused, the same way as when unpaused. I don't think anyone needs more of a visual indicator that something is paused than seeing a still image on a video.

Explore with clips A separate section to explore currently live streams trough clips, accessible trough its own tab as well as trough pressing a button in a specific section. Something like short form content but tailored to streaming scene.
Streamers could select up to 5 clips to be featured. The list order would be curated by the streamer.
The UI draft: clip video player in the center, with next and previous streamer buttons (specifically for browsers) to the sides. The 5 featured clip thumbnails appearing on top along a channels identity and “follow” buttons sandwiching the thumbnails.

Get on the boat. Should not be a lot of work, and having people using twitch affiliated emotes on a social platform would hugely promote the service.And you know, if it is one thing twitch community loves, it is spamming our emotes.

Make audio only mode’s chat bigger Have the player for audio only mode be smaller and have the chat window be longer. The current size is the same size as the video player, and is unnecessarily big for a grey box and to only be able to see 6 lines of chat at a time.

Allow flagging stream tags as Not Interested When choosing Not Interested for a recommended channel, allow selecting the tags that channel has listed for their live stream. This will allow much better recommendations.
For example: “vtuber,” “anime,” “speedrun,” etc. You will then not see any recommendations for streams/channels with these tags.

Restore offline followed channels in sidebar, or allow customised sidebars. A recent update seems to have removed the list of offline followed channels from the sidebar. Making it harder to navigate to any offline channel to watch VODs for example. I know you can scroll down on the main tab to eventually find them, but this forces the app to load past “recently featured clips”, “channels recommend for you”, “continue watching”, and “upcoming streams” sections, each adding delay while they load.
I guess people with a lot of followed channels might have less clutter now, but maybe allow the user to enable the categories they want to see on the…

CONSOLE STREAMING NEEDS A LOT MORE SUPPORT Console streaming sometimes can get a little bit boring, you cannot use a music app, if you switch to a different game your stream pauses, I would like to react to videos on YouTube or at least be able to watch a short clip to add context an make it fun for my viewers, the same happens with any browser, my stream pauses and I can’t add context with images or tweets or any other content that will help interact with my community, streamlabs helps with a little support but it’s not enough. Twitch App for Safe 18+ Content I would like to see a secondary Twitch App created specifically for streamers and content creators that focuses on the “Pools/Hot Tubs/Beach”, “Body Painting” categories, and other similar content that is risqué in nature or targeted for 18+ audiences. Constantly, I’m seeing creators push the limits of what is acceptable in Twitch’s TOS. I think it would be beneficial to have a completely separate app for these creators (under Twitch) They would have their own TOS and it would make “Twitch Prime”, if you will, a safer environment for younger viewers who may stumble upon a feed with a girl…

Make Twitch mobile users able to view there prediction and amount of channel points placed. Sometimes you can forget your prediction or how many channel points you placed. It would be nice to be able to view this on Twitch mobile, but currently it’s only on pc(maybe gaming consoles).

portrait As someone who uses both PC and Mobile from time to time i have to say the viewing experince on mobile sucks. one of the many reasons is the video feed is landscape when most users are going to use their phone in portriat mode.
It would be great if streamers had the ability to send a dual feed, one in landscape for the people watching on pc, and one in portrait for the movile users .

Lock screen Continue audio playback after locking phone screen. Currently the app stops the stream if you lock your phone screen. An option for the stream to continue audio playback while phone is locked would be useful for those that want to listen to the stream but can't watch, similarly as the option to be able to listen to the stream even if the application goes to background.
