How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

Appeals or commentary on suspension decisions, support requests, suggestions disparaging others, and non-constructive feedback will be closed without comment.

  2. Twitch is not full screen on the Samsung Galaxy S20 and I assume all other models that have the centred pinhole front-facing camera design. When the phone was originally released, the app actually did go full-screen over the pinhole, but just a few weeks later the Twitch app updated to no longer do that. Watching on mobile now means having a black bar over one side of the screen. The whole point of phones like these is the feeling of a true full-screen experience and the current Twitch app design ruins it.

  4. It seems complete idiocy that an Amazon product does not support an App for an Amazon company. My previous generation of tablet did but the most current one (11th generation) does not....what is the point of a free sub with Amazon prime if I can't even access Twitch.

  6. It seems sometimes, when playing ultrawide videos ("21/9" aspect ratio) on my android tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 6), the video starts playing vertically stretched out to 16/9 aspect ratio. Rotating the image, or switching from and to fullscreen will resize the video to the correct 21/9 ratio.

This only seems to happen if there was no ad played when starting the video or stream. As there is a workaround when this happens, and it may not be happening to other tablet viewers, I'd imagine this is more of an annoyance, but it could be detrimental to streamers who use the…

  8. I wish that multiple "Is Live!" notifications by a single user would be grouped together into one notification. Right now, each is separate, making my notifications really noisy for active users.

  10. Instant Apps for Android allow casual users like me to use the app's primary functionality without having to explicitly download it. It can also function as an "upsell" to encourage me to download the full app for a richer experience.

  11. can't 'go live' with a chromebook on the android app? this seems like a shame since uvc capture devices are supported on the platform (appear as a 'camera').

  12. First, please, PLEASE find a way to keep the mobile app from disconnecting from the stream. This is an incredibly frustrating experience to be in the middle of something and have the stream fail.

Second, the autofocus on the android app is in need of serious, serious improvement. I cannot overstate this enough. Please allow manual focusing, or allow autofocus to be turned off. The functionality is really poor.

Third, please inherit the stream description from the creator dashboard if it is changed there. If I have to restart the stream for whatever reason (see first), having to edit the…

  13. MVP: Add option for the Android Twitch app to use the light or dark theme by inheriting the state of the system's theme [Android 10+].

Bonus: Ideally, it would be great for the app's rendered state to automatically update the theme without having to be restarted. Switching back to the app via the app switcher (whilst it's running in RAM) after the system theme changes (either manually or automatically, based on Sunrise/Sunset) should cause this to occur, as well as if it's in the foreground and Sunrise/Sunset toggles a system-wide change.
