A more easier, responsive, less buggy version of the already existing app with enhancements to chat functions. :D

Yes i also want user list AND chat at same time on my android.
Also i don't know why there is no program that is just a window we can put on top of a borderless windowed game and set that wholwe window transparent except the text.
I mean OBS has an option like that but i want that window seperate, not IN OBS.
Is that so hard?A window, with an option to select the pop out chat from twitch (just like OBS has)
A region select so i can select an area in the popped out chat window of twitch (OBS has that)
An option to set ONLY THE WINDOW transparent, not the letters. Why is this not made yet?
Why i want this? i explane
I play a borderless windowed game and i want to see the chat OVER my game
I don't want 2 screens, or through android app.I play the game, i see the chat and i talk to them back with my microphone.
I know this must be possible somehow. -

I can relate to all those issues stated below.

My biggest issues with the Android app are:
1. When I switch away from the Twitch app and then switch back, no matter how quickly, the chat does not persist. The whole chat log is cleared.
2. When I go to the "following" page, switch away from the Twitch app long enough for Android to unload it from memory, and switch back, it appears to show the "games" page, but then if I try to go back to the "following" page via the sidebar menu, it still appears to show the "games" page. I have to press the back button, which triggers a transition animation, as if I were going from the "following" page back to the "games" page, and then I can actually go to the "following" page again. -

@xangold sorta related to design of the app but could multi-view support on samsung phones be added? would be near to watch stream while checking my emails/twitter on my phone and another addition to the features an auto switch to audio if you accidentally exit the app

Hmm, possibly (since this is a pretty broad statement) another great thing to add, would be to have the stream continuously running, while smaller, so that you may surf the web or apps without having to refresh the entire stream and chat.

iOS user here.
Would like to see how many viewers a live channel in my following list has on the thumbnail. Can we have the volume slider back please!
Can we ever get any kind of moderation tools for mobile? Even a purge button would be a great start.
That's all for now.

Sometimes, the android app can be unresponsive, I experience bugs, when checking my followers list, it won't load. This also goes for the chat, sometimes the emotes and badges will either load incorrectly or not at all.

I'd like to see my followed streamers instead of a list of random games at the front page.
Also, I use my mobile app to check my stream as i can't see it when i'm gaming... and i can't follow myself so its tricky to find my own channel.
With such a huge vertical space in tablets (even when in landscape) it makes no sense to divide the screen horizontally as the chat never takes up half of the screen and the video's size becomes minimal. I'd say stick to the classic layout even in landscape mode on a 10' tablet. -

I have experienced bugs on the android app; I think a VOD and messaging function would be great for mobile users!

Honestly, I have to say that I am impressed with the IOS app, I don't really ever have much of any problems using it and I'm extremely happy they added a feature to timeout/ban users on mobile. I think now the next thing would be PM and VODs. A report feature on the mobile app also wouldn't hurt.

These are also great ideas!

People have to realize that an App or anything on mobile devices for that matter, are limited to a small area. You can't cram ten thousands keys on a keyboard either, it'd be too difficult and messy to use.
