VOD chat has been removed?
The recent update substantially changed the user experience, at least on Xbox. First, VOD chat is no longer visible in app. Many of the creators I watch interact with chat. Without chat it can be hard to follow what the creator is referencing or riffing on. It's a big part of the viewing experience. I'm unsure why it was removed since community is such a big part of the Twitch experience.

I have been troubled regarding this so long. without the chat playback the vid does not have the same experience. we need chat playback again

This update just got forced on me on PS5. Instead of an update giving us features we have never had (animated emotes, polls, channel point redemptions, raids), they opted to… remove a bunch of features we already had, including integral parts of Twitch like chat playback on VODs, and even the ability to chat itself.
Is there a reason Twitch is trying to force us to watch on tiny screens instead of up on the TV from the comfort of our couch? We’ve long since accepted we won’t get any new features, but at the very least revert the update to the previous version and give back what you took away.
