I streamed on a ps5 last week and was surprised because the stream app of the ps5 lets you include game chat audio. So the Xbox app is the problem. I called both tech support (xbox and twitch) and they blame each other. Didn't get any solutions. Such disappointing.

Everyone is streaming these days so we can capture those fun moments in gaming. It is disappointing that game chat audio isn't included with some consoles. This should be a priority so any stream can include voices of all party members regardless of which device they are playing on (cross-play).

Come on its 2023 and they still havent fixed the game chat not being captured Can this please be fixed already

I've sent so many emails to Microsoft support and twitch support and the only thing they do is blame the other on whose fault is this problem and they not solve anything at all. I believe Playstation's twitch app can capture in game chat audio. Why xbox can't?

So is this going to be updated sometime in our lifetime? Is there a workaround I am not aware of? This is rather lame considering Playstation doesn't have this issue.

Sometimes there are funny wholesome moments in game chat, I'd love to capture and share those. Other moments where my friends for funny purposes leave the party chat to go scream in game chat or something, I don't want my viewers confused why Im laughing so hard at nothing.

i agree my viewers want to hear in game voices i think its unfair that i have to go and buy a 1400$ gaming PC to run my stuff properly. UNFAIR

Pughs review has a fix if party chat is not working right look him up on youtube.

Umm this is kinda disappointing the fact Xbox streamers aren’t able to get game chat or hear other people if ur not in the party I feel like there should be a fix for that to were viewers can hear me and hear everyone else in game please make that change

I have the same issue but 1st time i hear about capture card...
But i can say twitch don't help for this problem... the only answer from tham i had is contact Microsoft and Microsoft said to contact twitch 🙌🙌🙌

Game chat is needed please make it were Xbox can share game and other app audios like quarrel sharable with stream

I stream sometimes, just for fun. I stream Fortnite and there is just one problem. The stream can hear me but it cannot hear my teammates that I am playing with. I think that Twitch should add it to where it can hear everyone you are playing with. I’m having this problem on Xbox.

Hey Twitch, on Xbox I think the party chat volume setting needs a change/fix as the option to change the party chat volume is faded out, this makes audio really bad especially when friends are louder or just as loud as the streamer themself.

I agree! I'm literally in the same situation. It sucks due to growing decently on a console however without the means to acquire tech
