Xbox One Disable/Change Viewer Overlay
The ability to toggle the streamer's on-screen viewer overlay on his screen, to off, or a smaller text, a moved text, or even just a red "Live" icon with a small text in a choice corner of the screen is more than enough. The placement is very intrusive, and misleading to someone who needs to see scanners, maps, health, and so on.
Many a time I have heard games exploding about "This friend is online" via the Xbox, but this does go away in seconds, so to put the Viewers count there, with a large ammount of text, that cant be toggled off seems silly to me.
Request: A feature in the snapp app, that;
1. Can disable the vViewer count overall.
2. Move the Viewer count.
3. Scale the viewer count.
4. Change the overlay to a red "Live" icon with the number only next to it. (Preferably placed via layout by user selection)
5. Simply change the layout to the "Viewers" icon, and the number alone. "Broadcasting" can be replaced with a red dot, and "Viewers" can be replaced with a tiny indicator, if necessary.
Thank you for your time, and I hope this doesn't cross deaf ears.
Hey everyone - Just wanted to pop in here and give you a response on this feedback. Unfortunately, after speaking with the associated teams here at Twitch, we are unable to action on these suggestions due to the Xbox overlay system being dictated by Microsoft. You can leave the Xbox team feedback here.
Apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you all for leaving us your feedback. If you have any additional suggestions for Twitch, please feel free to create a new post for us.

I second (technically 18th) this. Games like Smite are unbroadcastable because of the placement of the bar. Being able to move this, and integrate a transparency filter which would allow the ability to see through it would be ideal.Even if we can move it from the bottom to the top would be great!

Please allow Xbox streamers to move or hide the viewer bar. I have not been streaming for long but immediately after starting my first stream I did a search for how to remove the viewer bar from the middle of the screen when streaming. I figured I was just not seeing the toggle or option for such a fundamentally necessary option. I then came across thousands of requests from others for the same thing. Requests dating back as far as a year ago, asking for the ability to at least hide it. It completely blocks critical information for a streaming player in certain games. Smite, in particular, has the health, mana, and experience bar directly behind where the Twitch viewer/uptime bar is located so in a fight, it's just a guess as to how you'll fare. I don't know much about programming but I can't imagine having the ability to hide that bar would be too taxing of a feature to incorporate into the Xbox Twitch app. I've spoken to over a dozen Xbox streamers who have expressed similar frustrations. Please, please, PLEASE, throw us a bone here and allow us to hide that bar. Thank you.

This thing has been there years, users has been begging Twitch and Microsoft to remove it years. AND STILL NOtHING. Twitch and Microsoft does not care about customers. Worst part was, that previously we were able to SNAP Twitch and that way it left us clear screen to play, but now after latest updates on Xbox One there is NO SNAP window and that means that playing and broadcastiong on Xbox One same time come to impossible. Unless you buy capture card what many xbox one owners are doing today. <- which makes Twitch and Beam apps on Xbox One pretty pointless today.

I just started with Twitch, and I absolutely love it, but there's no way I can stream my favorite game that I'm playing right now because the new update covers up my action bar with an opaque display. I would love to stream, but there's no way I can play my game like this. I'm sure it's not the only game that gets important stuff blocked.

It completely blocks mass effect dialoge options. In rainbow six siege it blocks the gadges icons

The XBOX March 2017 update just made this issue worse. The new design for the overlay just made it so I cant see any of the dialogue wheel options now.

Please, I'm so sick of not being able to stream games like Skyrim because that banner covers critical elements of the HUD/dialogue. You try playing a game without seeing your health bar! Thanks for the forced challenge run! DERP DERP.

Please remove the overlay Twitch. Can't stream games properly with an annoying view-count in my face.

This has been going on for almost two years now, and something so simple has definitely fallen on deaf ears. I came here in hopes that this issue has been addressed, but unfortunately I was wrong. This is why I don't stream on Twitch anymore.
