BlueSky Create a BlueSky Account for TwitchDev on dev.twitch.tv The site now has 1 million accounts, and more Twitch Streamers are moving there. Creating an account not only provides another outlet for TwtichDev announcements, but also demonstrates to Twitch users that Twitch Developer relations is aware of the potential of this platform. It does NOT necessarily show that Twitch is adopting an official stance.

Can't pause the video with space/k after clicking somewhere other than the top-navigation/header section. I want to pause the streaming video player with space/k. But I can't do that after clicking somewhere other than the top navigation section of Twitch, like side navigation where live channels are displayed and the video player itself. Is it a bug or just a normal state?

Provide way for developers to get support on monetization in more private manner I am hesitant to ask financial questions online in public spaces, and frankly shouldn't be required to. I would have preferred an email directly with the developer support team. Being a software developer for 20 years myself, I understand not giving out direct contact info for the developer team. However, questions related to financial payments should not be direct to be discussed in a public space. Having a private way to relay information with the developer team, if I am not allowed to contact them directly (they do not have a contact email or form), would be important.

Hi all, just a quick thought, but will there be a category for IT stuff? I would like to start streaming about networking and teach people.
This would include spinning up virtual machines and configuring networks on a stream.

Create multiple shoutout or reduce cooldown or cancel option Sometimes I need to send 5-6 shoutouts (4 streamers in the weekly event + gank) and that time is asynchronous with the time each streamer speaks.

Some links didn't work removing "/u/nickname" from URL Several links like https://dashboard.twitch.tv/u/nickname/extensions/manage can be changed to https://dashboard.twitch.tv/extensions/manage by removing "/u/nickname" but this from extensions returns an error.

Twitch Developer date/time format error On the following page: https://dev.twitch.tv/console/apps
The date and time is hardcoded as
MM/DD/Y, h:mm aand does not reflect the locale chosen, but it is using my local timezone. So despite me having Swedish selected, it for example gives me: "06/05/2023, 03:42 pm" for 5 June 2023 at 15:42 UTC+2.On the following page: https://dev.twitch.tv/console/extensions
The date and time is using the long format with forced 12 hour time in the local format, but it is using my local timezone. So using Swedish, it for example gives me "5 juni 2023 3:42 em" for 5 June 2023 at 15:42 UTC+2.

Add "Do not ban moderators" to Shield Mode Add "Do not ban moderators " or "Do not ban usernames" that are trusted. So that Shield Mode does not defeat its own purpose by banning human moderators to leave the channel vulnerable to chat abuse vandalism, which could shut down the channel. Another setback discovered in testing, is that when a moderator unbans a Shield Mode banned moderator, the moderator sword is not restored by the unban. So that moderator is unable to protect the channel from chat abuse vandals. There are workarounds, but they take precious time. AutoMod should be checked that it is not getting Shield Mode…

Edit Organization Metadata on the Console Now with Game Developer badges, the metadata from the Organization is now being publicly displayed, (ie. User Card in chat). We have no way to edit any information about the organization ourselves. Please add an edit page on the dev console for organization management.

[IDEA] Have two channels for Streamers (explained) As a digital consultant and seasoned dev, I believe a good feature to develop would be to provide the streamers the capability to toggle one/two channels for the stream.
*FIRST CHANNEL: The regular camera capturing the entire streamtools managed screens or windows. (No need to set the IRL Camera container at all, thanks to the second channel)
