  1. How when one calls a radio show and cusses but it it gets bleeped out because the radio show isn't actually live, it's 30 secs behind or something.

I don't know what the tech is called or if it is even currently possible but having the ability to mute someone who just cussed on discord or something and then make them leave without having to risk a ban on your stream.

Like, make it an option and i think people can really do something with it.

  3. I created two organizations for testing purposes. Now that I've tested the available features, I'd like to be able to delete these organizations from the developer console.

There is no button or information on how to do this, the only option I have is "Manage organization" that allows me to manage members, not the organization itself.

  4. I am new to Twitch, but one idea I want to do is Bingo Cards with consistent game content (Character X does Action Y could be one of the squares, for example). Is there a way to use a !command to create the random card and track all players' cards? Seems like I'd need external website assistance. However, if this has already been created, I have no interest in reinventing the wheel.

ALSO: I want to make sure this will not break any TOS!! I want to remain in compliance.

    Thanks,

    JankaJoe

  5. You could once enter redirect URLs in this format which is useful for cookie testing:
    http://some.prefix.localhost:8080/auth/twitch/callback

Now I can no longer change the URLs of my application without removing this entry. I would like it to allow HTTP for domain names ending in [some.prefix].localhost not just localhost.

  6. There are more and more cases working with different teams, especially with more and more hackathons, that the need to separate groups for different projects on Twitch have become more of a need. There were talked about a Soon™ feature to allow multiple organizations, but nothing has come about. This would be great to allow, and then allow movement of apps between personal accounts to an organization on the site once this is setup to help management, or a form to allow twitch to process the movement.

  7. It would be nice to have a "next" or "continue" button. It is confusing to navigate after reading "what are we going to build", I wasn't sure where this building was going to happen.

  9. It would be nice to have analytics for "normal" OAuth apps similar to what extensions already have.
The analytics could include authed users overall, new authed users in the past x days, xxx logins / oauth authorize per day and revokes per day. Having theses stats would make it much easier for developers to see how many users are using their apps, especially if they are client token ones without a server backend.
As bonus these analytics could also include a listing of how many request per Twitch API endpoint were done. Google for example has this in their API…

  10. The tutorials just leave you at the end of a page with no 'Continue' or 'Next Step' button. It 's not obvious if I'm at the end of the tutorial or not.

  13. The "build your first extension" walkthrough was perfect until about the half-way mark, then it started omitting hugely important steps. I had to stumble around to try and keep up, and although I was modestly successful, I was not able to see my Panel extension in my channel. Would have been helpful to actually have a zip file of assets to upload, because I have no idea whether I did that step correctly.

  14. "Check: If you want to see the completed code at this stage, its available on the Step 1 branch."

There are no links to the source code. It would be extremely helpful to have a link to GitHub repo with full set of code in this tutorial, to see how it all goes together.

  15. Hello guys from twitch. Last week I filled out the form to add my indie company to the platform claiming my game, but it was denied. I gave all possible information and did not understand the reason for the denial.

Our game is already in the GiantBomb database and we are doing all the transition process (we come from MIXER) by implementing the Twitch API to the game and creating the extensions.

I sincerely ask you to help us register the company.

Hello, could you let us know the game/company name so we can follow up on this.

  17. Hi,

I'm a game developer/publisher and I would really like to be able to get a notification (email and/or in-browser) when someone plays one of my game(s)!

Currently it's possible to follow a game but you don't get any notification when someone streams it.

If possible, I would like this implemented directly from the web GUI.

NB : I would also love this feature as a regular user, there are several niche games I would really like to get notified when someone streams them…
