Provide an endpoint for recent raids Or as a minimum "Raids this stream".
But then you need a sensible reset point. So last x days works. Similar to other "time" based endpoints.

Extend Clips response with video_name and game_name The clip response already include both id and name -fields for some data -- broadcaster_id/broadcaster_name and creator_id/creator_name.
It would be helpful if the same was true for game_id and video_id, so we wouldn't have to resolve these by making additional requests.
game_name: the title of the game being played.
video_name: the title of the video (stream) that the clip came from.1 vote -
Raid started (and cancelled maybe) EventSub Please add EventSubChannelRaidStartedEvent and EventSubChannelRaidCancelledEvent to the API…
I’ve seen many requests for it, and it should definitely be a thing

App Scoped UserIds This is an unpopular idea, because it would significantly change the developer experience and make cross app tracking of users 'more difficult, but not impossible'.. and also, it would increase security and improve user privacy.
Return only Opaque User Ids. Do not have the UserID returned by the API to be the same one that other user data is indexed by. If you want to take it a step further, make the UserIDs returned to an app, 'app scoped'. What that would mean is if App A, asked for the UserId of user 'Xemdo', the API could return 72078039. If…

Retrieve moderation actions such as banned users with a channel moderator's OAuth token As far as I understand, for now, it is possible to ban/unban an user with a channel moderator's OAuth token, but it is still impossible to retrieve the channel's banned users list. It must be done with the broadcaster's OAuth token. Even though moderators have access to this information with the /user chat command.
If I want to check if an user is banned as a moderator via the API, here's what I currently need to do:
- perform a ban/unban request on the user
- check if it returned HTTP 200 or HTTP 400 (respectively meaning successful or user…3 votes -
Hidden/Personal Replys for bots Right now, chat bots that post messages in chat from things such as commands. will post the reply in chat, which can become quite spammy. The only solution to this right now is to use whispers, but there is a hard limit on that and doesn't work half of the time anyways. I propose that we should be able to have bots send replies that are hidden to everyone but the person that ran the command.

Conflict between docs and reality on refresh tokens expiration I became to have an expired refresh token and the API answered with a code 400 Bad Request. May updating the docs be a good idea.

Extend Get VIPs to include the number of VIP slots a channel has Off the back of
https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310213-developers/suggestions/37563241-expose-vips-in-the-api
Being an endpoint now.
There is no endpoint for "how many VIP slots does the channel have"
as per the help doc
https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/Managing-Roles-for-your-Channel?language=en_US
it scales based on the unique chatters/build a community achievement.
So extend the Get VIPs endpoint to report the possible maximum VIPS for the channel I'm getting VIPs of.

IRC Request: Follow tag to filter out non follower messages Currently, it is easy to tell if a user that sent a message in a streamer’s channel is a subscriber, VIP, or moderator of that channel. However, there is no way to tell if that user is a follower of the channel.
With the rise of hate raids and malicious messages, I want to ensure that if a streamer is using a chat box overlay, that they have the option to only let messages from followers appear. Malicious users usually don’t follow the channel, and so this will prevent their messages from appearing on stream.
I do understand that this…

Extend Moderation API to retrieve and set mod comments of a defined user An update on Jan 31, 2019 gave channel moderators the ability to add comments to users within chat. There is currently no way to use the API to be able to set or retrieve comments for users in chat.
This should be available to the broadcaster and all moderators within a channel.
To add a mod comment to a user, the endpoint could take the following data as inputs:
- User: {user's name}
- Moderator: {mod's name}
- Broadcaster: {broadcaster's name}
- Comment: {comment to be applied}On success, this would return the following:
- Success: {true}
- date: {date}…35 votes -
Provide Channel Emotes bitstier Details The existing Channel Emotes API response includes a 'bitstier' value of 'emote_type' for Cheer-earned emotes, but does not include any data about the actual number of bits required to earn the emote. Either the 'tier' attribute or a new integer-value (recommended) containing the number of bits for each emote would be very helpful. Adding the same attribute to the Emote Sets API response would also be useful and uniform.

Bot auto follow a channel With the removal of the Follow Create endpoint.
A "non moderation bot" can no longer be automatically added to a channel.
The owner of the bot would have to "login" to the account and manually follow the channel(s) the bot joins.A "non moderation" bot doesn't run moderation commands, so giving it "mod" wouldn't make sense. (Which would bypass the follow requirement)
Please provide a way to "authorise adding a bot to a channel" that will auto follow the bot to the channel. For this purpose
This could be similar to how Discord does bots, where to add a bot…

Regarding API rate limit.. Hello, I have a question
It provides a service that provides users with search results and filter functions on various platforms.
Is there a way to increase the limit of the rate limit of the API currently being provided?
Please check. Thank you!

API to retrieve a user's last *several* played games, not just the most recent Currently, an extension I've made can help show off a channel, including showing off their last played game. As this is one of the main reasons a person may be interested in following that streamer (based on the information that can be gathered by the API), the main way to improve upon that is to show more of these games.
It seems strange that there is a list of the user's last several played games freely available on their channel, but not to be retrieved via an API.3 votes -
