  1. I would like to see more than one user per schedule API query. Similar to querying the streams and channel information from up to 100 users. That would be of great help with the rate limits.

    Best greetings ^^

  2. The new prediction/polls APIs are very welcome, but it would be useful to know who started/locked/ended a prediction.

Maybe to display info to chatters who to talk to about the rules of the current prediction or maybe to log potential abuse of predictions.

  3. Please provide a way for third party developers to obtain currently available songs and meta data related to those songs.

Both in a "get all songs" method and "search for songs"

    Search should be

    • free text (like game/category search)
    • song ID (to get specific song data)
    • artist ID (to get songs by an artist)
    • album ID (to get songs on an album)
    • by category/genre (to get say only Dance music or chill out music)

  4. The existing API endpoint for getting chatters predates User IDs and only returns usernames. It's also part of TMI and not officially documented, which could result in it being removed at any point without any notice.

Many bots use the endpoint for channel loyalty points, and then have to make secondary calls to the get the user ID.

  5. For example when I request emote set 300548756 (The rpg limited time emotes) It only returns RPGAyaya when I as a user possess all of that emote set. other limited time sets do the same with some not returning any emotes at all.

  6. I would love to have as an extension of the recently released Prediction API a way to be notified (EventSub or webhook) when someone just spent some channel points in a prediction.

I understand that for big channels a lot of notifications could be sent at the same time, but why not at least merging some notifications in one to bring down a bit this issue?

It could be an array of predictor objects with defined max amount of objects per notifications (let's say 100, if 1000 predictors only 10 requests would be sent by the API).

    The difference with…

  7. It would be useful if we could accept or reject a list of redemptions for handling batch accept/reject events.

Some examples of usage might be using Channel Points to join a game or a queue where a limited number of people can be accepted in. An app may need to reject a long list of users.

We have a use case on an upcoming feature and I'm concerned we'll easily hit the rate limit if a few of our larger channels make use of it.

  8. Okay, I got the user access tokens... not how to use it? The page ends without a word...
(like how to get what user is the one who accepted the request).
Also the scope list is not full - Discord use other roles as well, not mentioned in that docs.

  9. Similar to https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310213-developers/suggestions/42562003-bans-who-did-the-action

But extended to the Helix API.

It would be useful to add who did a given "Ban Event" to the Get Banned Events for "service restart catchup" when using eventsub.

And useful to add it to the main "get banned users" for determining as a moderator using a tool the history or a user and to check with that moderator why that user was banned, but can't since the API doesnt' report who did it.

  10. Endpoint to check if userID has a known bot or verified bot flag.

Which currently exists as a undocumented v5/kraken endpoint.

usercase: what rate limit does my bot have? I can check if my bot has mod but I can't check if my bot has verified bot.

  11. So I'm trying to do a multi-room audio solution with Mopidy (https://mopidy.com/) and Snapcast (https://mjaggard.github.io/snapcast/), and I'm following many DJs on Twitch, and tune in for the music. I'd like to be able to have a Mopidy extension to be able to receive and listen to Twitch streams from the server, without having to use my phone or anything.

I don't mind if I need to login/OAuth token, I don't mind for the usual occasional audio ads, I just want to be able to access the AUDIO stream so I can listen to it more conveniently.

  12. I have embedded my Twitch channel on my website as a non-interactive iframe in my side panel.

    Example:
    https://imgur.com/a/v1wc8ri

However, there is so much text there which clutters the UI.

By having my stream title there from when I was online does not add any value. It certainly does not promote my channel.

I would much more prefer if I could just have the bare minimum there and I can show my own offline-image.

    Example:
    https://imgur.com/a/v1wc8ri

It would be nice if we had a new query parameter option for embedding channels, which could remove any promotion texts or videos /…

  14. Similar to

    https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310213-developers/suggestions/38375011-mature-flag-on-get-streams-endpoint

But for the Get Channel information endpoint

We should also be able to modify the flag via the Set Channel Information endpoint

  15. Right now there is a limitation of the Custom Rewards API that makes it so a client can only update the custom rewards (and their redemptions) that it has created. However, with EventSub we can receive notification of any Custom Reward, regardless of whether the client created it or not. This means you can write a client to take some action upon Custom Reward Redemption, link it up to a preexisting Custom Reward, and it will take action. But the Client will never be able to programmatically mark the Redemption as FULFILLED, because the client didn't create the Custom Reward…

  16. Would be nice to if the Twitch service over at IFTTT had the channel title as an ingredient to be used.

This would enable a huge range of services to utilize the channel title for marketing purposes.

Zapier has this, but not IFTTT.

  17. Currently there's no way to get the status of a rerun stream, as /helix/streams only returns streams with the type "live" and "" (error)

Adding reruns with its type set to "rerun" would allow it to return rerun streams as well.

It's a problem that you can't get the status of a rerun stream because you then have no other choice than to treat it as offline, which means you e.g. may initiate a host, which will interfere with the stream.

  18. Given that EventSub only uses an App Access Token.

It's possible for a developer to obtain user authentication and never store the token (and/of refresh token if one exists (ie implict has no refresh)) and only utilise EventSub.

    Please provide an endpoint

    https://api.twitch.tv/helix/users/scopes

    With a required parameter of:

    id - a userID

That accepts ONLY An App Access Token

    That returns

    {
    data: [
    'array',
    'of'
    'scopes'
    ]
    }

To allow developers to check what scopes a user has authorised the developer/ClientID to utilise

whats emotes are in a given casters emote library

And an API to manage auto on/off/swap active emotes from that library
