Make Art/Creative its own directory

Hey all!
We’re excited to announce that we’ve rolled out the new Creative directory today!
As we mentioned before, the Creative directory features creators in our artistic categories including Art, Beauty & Body Art, Food & Drink, Makers & Crafting, and Software & Game Development. This will make it easier for both viewers that want to discover creators in these categories and creators looking to find and connect with others who stream creative content.
We expect these directories to continue to grow over time, so please keep the ideas coming. And if you believe an existing category is missing from this list, please let us know.
Thank you for all your feedback and as always we look forward to more of it. We’re looking forward to seeing you, your communities, and your creativity in the new directory!

IRL???? Nope.

rename Music to Creative directory. How does Twitch consider Digital Art as IRL? It has nothing to do with being in real life. Each time Art has been neglected by any changes the Art community has been dealt a massive blow in viewership. The last time Art was refactored, large streams turned into medium streams. We even saw the death of some prominent artist's streams... Just say no to IRL. It is bad enough the platform has been a buggy pile of a website exponentially more and more over the years, the DMCA strong arming and ignoring giant streamers acting heinous... You all need to seriously take into account the voice of the public now more than ever.

Coming from the makers and crafter, I did not like streaming under IRL. I had a lot more trolls in that category. Please do not take away our safe space. As a woman I have to deal with trolls everywhere and this was a place I could stream safely with out having to always worry about creepers coming in to ruin my stream.

why go through the process of having so many different areas for people to express themselves & selection to choose from when looking for stuff just to them lump anything creative under "IRL"?...WtAF Twitch? that makes no sense whatsoever.
Are you gonna lump every single game under "Video Game" now too?...How about Music? where does that fit into this new category scheme? "IRL"? "Music"? "Digital Media"?
How about "Fitness& Health"? does that get scooped into "IRL" as well? what exactly constitutes "IRL" on a digital streaming platform when ALL OF IT IS DIGITAL, & STREAMING, & NOT IN PERSON?...
How does this help people find what they're looking for? it defeats the purpose of having categories in the 1st place. if I'm interested in looking for Art streamers how am I going to find that new person who's art might be EXACTLY what I want to see if it's buried in a pile labeled "IRL" instead of a smaller sampling labeled "Art"? several of the streamers I now follow & try to catch as often as I can I found through the smaller categories where they had a chance of coming up in someone's search results. -

Creative streamers - Artists, 2D, 3D, Hard Surface, Organic, Sculpters, Traditional, Game Developers and Programmers should have their own category on this platform.
IRL is not Creative and Creative is not IRL, they are ENTIRELY different areas of scope, stop trying to merge them in to one, it is unfair on streamers and you will lose a lot of income when people abandon your platform due to your own negligence. -

Art/creative streams are basically the only reason I watch Twitch at all. Make it easy for art communities to band together and thrive.

Yeah, if they did this I'd stop watching Twitch. I don't go to Twitch for gaming streams at all. I watch art streams/3d art streams, game dev and that's it. I'm not going to go through hundreds of IRL streams to find content that I actually enjoy. It's not worth it.

Let Art have it's own Category. Artists are getting the support they deserve on Twitch rather in the real world. Don't do this. Don't be those kind of people.

Please do make art/creativity its own category. It's difficult to find and appreciate artists as it is. Making it easier for artists will draw a lot more of us to this platform.

Yes please.
And, twitch, please sie down with royalty collecting societies to create a safe legal environment for streaming copyrighted works on your platform already.
You already had 10 years to do this, but instead you decided to profit from the grey zone and now you're leaving your creators out in the rain while they have to delete 10 years worth of work and creativity.
You know that your creators' lifelihoods is your livelihood, right?
Thank you. -

Art is a really important part of many people's lives. Please let it have its own category, just as Music does.

Art and Just chatting categories have VERY different audience. Let artists grow in their own category. As a creative streamer I don't want to be in IRL section at all, it's a shame.

Give art on Twitch a chance to grow. It might benefit Twitch in the long run and It'll definitely help creators and users. Making art content easier to find would be a simple step to achieve that.

"Music" is a creative stream genre that gets its own category, why doesn't "Art" get its own category?

Make Art/Creative its own directory.
Art is not "just chatting" and inside art there are lots of styles (comics, concept art, 3D modeling, etc) so please, do not "hide" art category in just chatting -
TossACoin2YourTwitcher commented
We are a select niche. We will be utterly swamped by the much larger "just talking". People looking for us are not the same people looking for "just talking". Please just give us a "creative" directory. That will get our fans where they want to go.
