  1. While it is good that streams can be embedded on other websites these should not automatically count as stream viewers on twitch.

It is far too easy for some businesses to take advantage of this by putting a tiny stream embed on a high traffic page that almost no-one watches, but which adds thousands to the view count of the streamers shown.

Not only is it just being dishonest with twitch viewers about a streamer's viewer count, but it damages smaller streamers too. Everyone knows the only reason this is done is because streamers with high view counts naturally draw…

  2. We recently announced the upcoming launch of the Twitch Discovery Feed: a scrollable feed in the Twitch app that shows users a personalized mix of Clips. Before that launch happens, we’ll be running experiments with limited versions of the Discovery Feed to help test and improve our algorithms and the overall experience. These early experiments do not reflect the final design or experience of the Discovery Feed. We'd love to hear your feedback and suggestions on how to improve this experience as we build towards the bigger launch.

  4. When browsing Categories by Recommended for You, if I mark a Category as Not Interested, when I then browse Live Channels by Recommended for You, all channels in that category should be filtered out.

For example, I marked ASMR and Pools, Hot Tubs, & Beaches as Not Interested but I still see channels in those categories in the recommended channels section. I have to then mark each individual channel as Not Interested. Just marking the category as not interested should filter all those channels out automatically.

  5. Hi, I am here. JavaScript is a cross-platform, object-oriented programming language used by developers to make web pages interactive. It allows developers to create dynamically updating content, use animations, clickable buttons, control multimedia. I need Javascript software development services. That's why I am asking you. Advise me a best company that provide me these services.

  6. This was also suggested back in 2020 but clearly no twitch employees have cared to even check it… Let us hide specific tags already, I absolutely do not enjoy watching vtubers at all and I’m so annoyed when 70% of what I see are just vtubers. I truly despise it when people use fake voices and an anime avatar, please let us block tags!

  7. So far I have only found the ability to hide or block streamers content on the for you type page of twitch, but the ability to do this in the general browsing sections especially when browsing live channels would be helpful especially for those who want to see less individuals who show a lot of skin.

The general block and ban functions available in chats doesn't do this, nor should it.

  8. When I go to the clips page of a game category I want to see the "most relevant" section arranged by viewcount and all time. Thing is you can't do this since you have to scroll past the entire featured clips category before you can see the beginning of the most relevant clips category and the page will crash before you ever reach it due to having to scroll and load every single featured clip until the 0 view ones.

Typically, everything which is new to the world is taken in with caution. Big Data and AI are relatively new technologies that disrupt industries. I want to know about what are AI and Big Data Hype? I need a professional company that their professionals and experts tell about AI and Big Data Hype. Thanks.

  10. The landscape of streams on Twitch is dominated by a small number of large channels, leaving little visibility for smaller ones. Removing the display of the number of viewers during stream searches would encourage the discovery of more diverse content and support smaller channels.

For streamers, retaining the number of viewers during a raid through the designated menu would allow them to promote other channels, thus fostering community growth.

Introducing a TAG for special events or charity livestreams would maintain visibility of the number of viewers, promoting these initiatives and encouraging community generosity.

With the exception of specific cases like…

  13. It is currently not easy to navigate through so many pages/streams when using Sort by either High to Low or Low to HIgh. in [ all directory ] , or within a category or within a tag.

I've recently found myself enjoying smaller channels as it is easier to connect with everbody in there

It would be nice to have an option to sort by high to low but with a set amount of viewers. Example High to Low, below 100 viewers [ The set amount of viewers should be within a blank box we should be allowed to type…

  14. Zapping Mode, a way in which you can search for channels much faster that is almost instantaneous than what was done in the past. That you can watch any type of channels and you can discover a new channel that is doing something interesting. The interface is a normal channel but you have the option to zap and change to the next one, and you also have the option to enter the channel and continue watching it if not after 1 minute it changes to the next one or the channel you are watching is automatically put on (it is…

  15. There is around 7,800,000 streamers a month on Twitch active and only 0.01% are I'd say personally prioritised.

    If you have;
5 viewers on your stream, you are in the top 30%.
10 viewers on your stream, you are in the top 15%.
250 viewers puts you at the top 1%

How come there is still no way of someone with 5 viewers or around that number to grow organically?

I'd love to see a program that incentivises small streamers to grow, ways to get more reach, someone can sit at 2 viewers for 5 years but can become so…

  16. Currently each directory shows only recommendations. Not everyone is interested in them. It would be helpful if we were able to browse directories if we so wanted to. We can only browse all categories and live channels. We need to be able to browse directories by only showing categories and live channels within them. When we click one of the directory banners (Games, IRL, Creative, etc.) instead of only showing recommendations, show three tabs: Categories, Live Channels and Recommended. On the first tab show all the categories part of that directory, on the second tab show all the channels within…

    1. One day per month, turn off viewer counts on all channels and randomize display on category searches.

    2. Allow viewers to cast votes for what a channel has to offer (fun, chill, hype, etc). Use these to allow viewers to align their viewing habits based on these types of streamers for those that don't want to view by category

    3. Enhance search ability for vods/clips allowing to find based on machine learning of what is being talked about, and eventually roll out AI integrated algorithms to deliver content that aligns with viewing habits

    4. Allow a "I don't want to see this type…

  17. There should be an option to select a channel that we do not want to see in the future, with the help of an additional option that would say "I do not want to know about the channel in the future" or "do not recommend this channel", and thus it would be possible to completely customize who and what channel you want to watch.

  18. Before the latest change, you had a very neat display of all available channels in the category.

after the change, you only have a tiny bit of the screen to actually browse - overshadowed by a giant preview that can't be removed.
this makes finding the stream you want so much harder, to the point of dejecting users from even trying.

an ability to simply collapse the preview would solve this without interfering with the change itself - although personally I think it's just not needed at all

EDIT: looks like you even made an "expand" button, but that does…

  19. When visiting Twitch, you need to select a broadcast to watch, and to switch to other broadcasts, you need to go back to the suggestions table and select again.
This method is inconvenient for new users; it forces them to return to the list of suggestions again and again, which is annoying.
It is much more convenient to have toggle buttons on the broadcast player to simply switch broadcasts, as is implemented on some streaming sites.
With this method of switching broadcasts, audience retention of new viewers will increase.
