Allow multiple categories I think it would be nice to put my stream under both Art and Makers & Crafting at the same time, since I often do both art and crafting in the same stream, or do crafts that approach art, or do art that qualifies as crafting.
I also see a lot of people playing a game while also playing stream raiders, so being able to designate both stream raiders and the game they are mainly playing would be nice.

Category for Video Art streamers Hello, there are an increasing number of video artists using twitch, but no good category to bring them together. Some use 'Art' but tend to get lost in the sea of traditional artists (painters, drawers etc). Some use 'Music' since their video art is often accompanied by music, but again the focus of that category isn't really right for what they're doing.
Most of the video artists I'm aware of are either generating artistic moving video patterns from scratch (like '70s-style psychadelic music videos, but moving far beyond that with modern technologies) or curating, reshaping and modifying pre-existing video (glitch,…

Twitch Integration Tag Allow users to tag their stream as having turned on Twitch integration for the game they are playing.
Twitch integrations, either added by the developer or through mods, can be a fun way for viewers to interact with the streamer and the game that they are playing. At the moment there is no way for viewers to find streamers who have integrations turned on.
Even if you search for a specific game which has the potential to integrate with Twitch, there is no guarantee that the streamer has the feature turned on.
This tag would allow streamers to indicate that…

Hide Game Much like following games you love, I think it could be prudent to be able to select games you want to hide. Specifically, this could be applied to games you have no interest in, AND could be used to opt out of seeing games you want to avoid spoilers on.

Animals There are many Animal streamers out there now, we really could use our own category instead of being scattered all over twitch.

Research Tag There are a bunch of non-gaming streamers in the Science and Tech, Makers and Crafters, Just Chatting, and Software and Game development categories (among others) that do something fundamentally new and push the boundary of human knowledge just a little bit -- maybe even culminating in an academic paper or similar resource.
It would be nice to be able to filter for these streamers and get more academics involved with streaming, in general

add new category Would love to see Pixel Art -> Diamond Painting / Cross Stitch / Embroidery added as categories. 'Makers' category is very broad

Instead of removing stream tags deemed offensive to some, why not add more inclusive stream tags instead? The removal of the "blind playthrough" tag was made in an attempt to be more inclusive of those with vision based disabilities, however the move of taking tags away effectively hurts more streamers in the long run than it helps (myself included, I have a visual impairment and play new games all the time on my stream, so blind playthrough is quite literal). For reference, I could count 16 tags directed towards speedrunning (a small subset of content creators on twitch, though quite popular in its own right.) and not a single one directed towards gaming with a disability.
Instead…

Have each category have its own "front page carosel" This would be every month have new creators highlighted in those sections. This would be a great way to promote twitch ambassadors more as well as creators that are really just making great content regardless of their small size. Right now its incredibly difficult to get any exposure on twitch and i think this would be great right now.

Senior tag As an older streamer (pushing 60!), it would be great to have a "Senior" tag for content creators over 50 years of age who want to make themselves known. Personally, I like when I find a streamer who remembers 45rpm records, typewriters, and cassette tapes. Heck, if they remember 8-tracks, even better!

Fix Pokemon Directories I saw it was marked as "Completed" that the pokemon directories were fixed but they really are not.
Can you please merge Red/Blue/Yellow, Gold/Silver/Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Diamond,Pearl, Platinum:
Some are still completely on their own and are even missing the cover images from the recent changes. (Look at Let's Go Pikachu for reference)36 votes -
fingerboarding Fingerboarding is skateboarding with your fingers (I'm sure you're aware of the fingerboard brand TechDeck). It is a pretty popular hobby and I have a pretty decent following on TikTok (about 100k followers) most of whom are into fingerboarding. Having a tag for it would make it worth my while to fingerboard on Twitch as well and bring more viewers over!

You've entered tags for gay, black, woman, and many others. Where are the caucasian, hetero, male tags? If your tags aren't inclusive, you're defining discrimination. I'm thinking the tags aren't going to send the inclusive message you're going for. Is being white straight and male a problem now days? This isn't a joke. One stream can proudly say, lesbian and African American in the tags. One can say safe space and women in the tag. Those aren't seen as noninclusive? So why are tags like "Caucasian" and "heterosexual" seen as any different. One love get back to me. Erase the hate.

New and Upcoming Streamers Tab I was just thinking about an idea that would probably help people who are new to streaming on Twitch to have a tab list of New and upcoming streamers who have like 100 followers or less to see an entire list of new streamers who haven't had that many followers to be easily seen to give chance for them to be noticed by channels who have slightly bigger followership and viewership. This would give new streamers a chance of being noticed and checked out, and also gives opportunity for bigger channels to drop them a raid too, because part of…

Indie Games/Indie Horror Games categories NEEDED Indie games on Twitch have close to zero discoverability. As an indie horror streamer myself, it would be amazing if instead of choosing the game title (that most won’t know to look for) there was a category for Indie Horror Games. Indie Horror Games should have it’s own category much like Retro Games do. The same goes for all other genres of indie games. Even just an Indie Games category in general would help. Not only would it give more discoverability to indie game streamers, but also to the indie game developers as well. I know many other streamers who…

"Classic" and "Retail" Tag for World of Warcraft category Since both versions of the game are completely different, it would be great if you could filter the WoW category with a "Classic" and "Retail" Tag

Indie Tag Request [SPA]
Hay muchos juegos que no entran dentro de las categorías habituales, o que son de compañías emergentes, y creo que una mejor forma de representar estos títulos sería con un nuevo tag, que no con el actual de ''games + demos'' o similares.

There are many games that do not fit into the usual categories, which are from emerging companies, and I think that a better way to represent these titles would be with a new tag, not with the current one of "games + demos" or similars.
