Allows us to block channels Why the hell are we not allowed to block channels that we dont want to see? I have streamers that are annoying and i could give two SH@ts about and yet they are constantly spamming my recommended channels side bar. We NEED an option to block any channel we want that we dont want to see. This should have been a feature to begin with, its kinda pathetic that they don't have something like this implemented already.

Improve blacklist sourcing for recommendation algorithms Motivation: Having 1/3 of the user's frontpage recommending unwanted items is not cool.
Current situation:
While there is the feature "Removing recommendations you are not interested in", the "3 vertical dots" menu is not provided for the topmost recommendation made in the frontpage.
It is also the only way to blacklist recommendations too, which is insufficient to capture user's intention, despite of how crucial recommendation is to UX.
Proposed solutions:
Add the 3 vertical dots to the topmost recommendation
Allow manual blacklist input in the settings page. Considering the team has already forgot to add the 3 vertical dots to…

More Focused Featured Content I think it would be a good idea if when logging on to twitch that the main featured content inst specifically people that are the most viewed creators live but instead smaller communities that focus on the tags we use on our own streams, and/or even have a cycle that highlights various minorities.

Block categories You should be able to block a category just like you can block a stream and a user.
For example, some people don't want to see naked streams and categories in their recommendations.

Category recommendations - opt out When reviewing the recommendations given to me by twitch, I often select to ignore the recommendation and then select to ignore the category. I have ignored many ‘gaming’ categories but still games in those same categories appear. I think I’m missing streams in the categories that I want to see.
Create the ability to opt in and opt out of particular categories so that I am served channels for the categories I’m most interested in.
OR
Fix the existing feature and truly stop channels that belong to a category from ever appearing my new recommendations.

Option to put Channels with mature content as hidden from directory. A option to not show channels with mature content filtered on could help out in some cases. Where if you toggle this option on, browsing through twitch, channels with mature content filtered on will not show up.

Ajuda a novos Streamers Muitas pessoas se frustam por ficarem horas e horas fazendo live para não ter ninguém assistindo-os, acho que, seria muito interessante uma recomendação dos canais com menos publico.

Allow Videos & to get recommended and Let people LIKE/React to them Allow videos or Channel trailers to get recommended for real this time.
Let people React to it ( Like/Dislike/Twitch Emotes) and if the video gets engagement/Positive feedback allow it to get recommended by MORE people.6 votes -
Please allow users to disable auto suggested streams. I log onto twitch to enjoy some stream content of my favorite streamer, game, or community for the day. I am encountered with streams without my choice(also known as consent) that I have no interest in, disagree with politically, feel are being pushed on me for political purposes, do not want to watch, do not even want to see for one second, and think I should not have to see. All I request is a simple option in user settings that allows me to opt out of hosts, raids, or "twitch" chosen streams on the home screen. This would improve…

Remove currently live VODs from the "Videos" tab of the "Following" page I'm unsure if this is a recent change with the FFZ extension or a bug or just working as intended but I follow a good amount of channels and the "Videos" tab on the "Following" page gets cluttered with videos that do not have thumbnails due to them being currently live channels.

Don't recommend channels to me at all. I am tired of ASMR, Fortnite and much more appearing in my recommended channels. I want Twitch to stop recommending stuff altogether.

Filter out Top Channels based on category feedback I have set some categories to not recommend for me. When I go to Browse Live Channels I see channels with those categories and I think that should be filtered out based on the category recommendation settings on the account.

Recommended *NEW* Streamers along with the recommended viewers there should be a tab suggesting streamers who are streaming similar content but who are newer to streaming or have a lesser amount of viewers at that current time. I'm not suggesting that we get rid of the Recommended Channels feature but add Recommended NEW Channels

Streamer rating - Let us rate (1 to 5 stars) streamers that we follow
Let us sort by rating in the side bar
Eventually create an average public rating from all the personal ratings and make that searchable

Adding customization options to the "Recommended Channels" in the side bar. Currently the recommended channels within the side bar seem to be controlled by a Twitch algorithm with no user input. Although this may not be an issue for a new user it begins to pose a problem with people who have been on the platform for a while. After some time, the recommended channels will begin to show you the same few channels repeatedly with almost no variation. It would be nice to allow some option to remove a channel from the recommended list that I have viewed and am not interested in. It would also be nice to have…

I want to be able to find new streamers that are local to me (in my time zone) I have recently started watching streams but all of the streamers I have found have been in the US and are streaming at times I am not able to watch.
I want to be able to search for streamers using my time zone or multiple time zones as well as what they stream, if they stream with other people and how many subscribers/followers they have.
This way I can find small streamers that are in my time zone and play games I want to see.3 votes -
Recommended channel I keep seeing these "recommended channels" but it's always the top streamer, or the speed run comps, stuff like this. I actually hate speed runs, because they are not actual game wins, so I don't want to see that. What if I could filter that out a bit and have more control over what's recommended to me? Maybe by selection of game genre, or specific game title? Anything other than being recommended to watch people cheat at games. I'm just trying to find a way to get the most out of twitch for me. Thanks for your time.

Adjust how channels are recommended / how recommended channels are displayed Change "Recommended Channels" to "Promoted Channels" or similar.
I never get any streams recommended to me that seem relevant to my follow list / interests or recently viewed streams.
I mostly watch FPS streams (CSGO or Overwatch), mixed with a few variety streamers (who don't play games like Hearthstone, any fighting games, or IRL.). Yet, all I get in my recommended are those 3 categories/games that I have zero interest in.

Give us the obvious ability to easily block any tag or category we choose. Please give us the ability to search for a certain category and be able to block it or turn it off recommendations so we do not see it. I went through setting after setting and could not find an easy way to disable it. I then said not interested manually and they keep popping back up. Like in the case of pools, hot tubs and beaches category in IRL, you are just preying on vulnerable needy men for a profit. Stop it. Or at list give us an easy quick and obvious option to block any category or tag we…
