Allow an option to block streamers channels
So they don't show up when you are looking under games for streams to watch.
It would be great if you ignored a user, their channel didn't show up when you were looking for streams to watch

I find it hilarious that everyone else has an issue with the same streamer I want out of my feed. I also never want that "Dr Disrespect" or whatever in my feed, or a few dozen other toxic men.
I'd also like to be able to block (or only allow) certain games in my feed as well.
Looks like there used to be a Chrome extension project for this.
I really only want to see the little streamers anyways and not any of the big folks.
Still no word on this. I'm so sick of seeing Amouranth every time I log in.
Wow. I was thinking this was an incredibly simple function, and was honestly surprised it was not already implemented O_O. I am a relatively new streamer, and I am 100% in favour of people being able to block my channel if it doesn't suit their fancy. I really am okay with that, and wish to have the ability to block certain streams from showing up on my dash every time I log into my account.
@Twitch, Please. This is a function that should have been in place since day one. It appears this request has been continuously being made for years now. I have a few friends who have left Twitch, and I am honestly starting to see why. I think this one, tiny correction to user functions would make a world of difference to users who are constantly being shown things on their personal profiles that they have no desire to see. From a business standpoint, you would likely notice a rise in viewership, as opposed to a fall. Suggest channels to people based on what they have actually shown an interest in. I've seen quite a few channels on my "suggestions" list, and so far, not a single one of them has a solitary thing to do with ANY of the things i am interested in. In fact the majority of them have me searching for a "block" function, until today when I discovered that for some reason, devoid of all possible logic. This function does not exist on the Twitch platform. @Twitch, that, friends, is a problem.
Lol - I've been looking for this myself specifically to block that disgusting Amouranth and her mindless garbage stream. Seems I'm far from alone.
If people want to watch this rubbish it's up to them, but I too would like an option to block her from any and all suggestion feeds.
Yeah, I would also love to block this Amouranth to never be seen on my recommended channels ever again (home page). Why can't I already do that? I'm a female and she is basicly a stripper, hence i'm not interested in ever seeing her here. At. All. Pls make an option to completly block whole channels.
I would also love to have an option to disable this IRL category alltogether to be honest..
Girls can play games and show a little bit of skin I have no issue with that. Seriously though when every stream is IRL and you dance around like a moron in short-shorts for a bunch of 14 y.o. boys to get aroused....? (Amouranth) - It's whatever at this point, I don't even care but please please please let me "dislike" or "block" her stream from showing up in my recommended channels! She is a disgrace to any real broadcaster. I thought you were stopping this!
Given this has been an issue for at least 3 years, would be an easy fix for Twitch and still nothing.
That lets you know Twitch doesn't care about users. It is a simple fix, stop spending money there no subs no donates.
Twitch has 1 and ONLY 1 care in the world $$$,
I’d like to block twitch at my router. Does anybody know how to do this? I never have gave twitch permission to broadcast me and yet the twitch streamers can join any game and broadcast you without your permission?
Twitch is pornhub for children..
So many child prostitutes it’s not funny.
Is they’re anyway to block streamers/twitch from your games please?
So many 11 years olds trying to sell themselves in streams with fuck all on is Porn
Well done Twitch, and the parent company, Amazon even sells a book called the Pedophiles guide to sex.
Fuck off child whores and fuck off Twitch and fuck of Amazon. You child abusing scum.
Looks like this has been brought to Twitch's attention for a few years now. Add a button to block streamers Twitch channels, please. I don't want to see Amouranth, etc., showing up in my recommendations every time I log in or am searching.
I want to block it and hide it so I never have to see it again.
Surely such a thing is not difficult to achieve. It's been a few years now. Hop to it and make it happen, please.

I don't like being able to see people who think it's okay to scam people and get away with it (Syndicate)
I agree with this. Also with previous comments about amouranth. That trash human being gets a huge portion of my homepage for no good reason and is in my recommended content. NO THANK YOU.
Please allow blocking
"amouranth" shows up on the front of my page EVERY. TIME. I. LOG. IN.
Look man, I'm a girl and she disgusts me, I reported her once or twice and I'm rewarded by throwing her in my face everytime I open twitch!?
I am logging out and ceasing use of my account until there is a way to BLOCK UNWANTED STREAMS.

get rid of streamers like amouranth and stpeach! they are whores thank you
there is an extension to block certain streams but it only works in chrome we need it to block content completely even though its blocked on pc as soon as you use the twitch app they are back again.... we need this option
Yona Curtis commented
We still need this ....Twitch are you listening?!
I dont want to see naked fat guys on my twitch home page. (withawonder) This would help me block seeing that since twitch wont do their job and ban him.
these guys are joke. i block people via username and still see suggestions as they stream. its pointless. i mean how dense these guys can be. i have 0 hopes about this happenning. i am sure this is a thing even before 2015.
Yes. I hate this. I literally have no control over my suggestions.
PLEASE! Do this! I cant stand starting up twitch and having to get an earful of league of legends e-sports before I can even click away!

Going on 2018 soon... still nothing.
This idea is pretty decent, have:
It's no so much, that we need it- it's kind of a good idea in the sense of I don't like or want to see certain content... and some people are just assholes I really really don't want to see like, at all. Even STEAM has some assortment of anti-cheat and user blocking lol and they're not so good at getting things together.
Twitch come on...
