Allow an option to block streamers channels
So they don't show up when you are looking under games for streams to watch.
It would be great if you ignored a user, their channel didn't show up when you were looking for streams to watch
Twitch seems to have zero integrity about the content that can appear to the public on the front page of its website. I see this streamer Amouranth who looks like someone who belongs on an adult webcam website, yet here they are on Twitch with half their body uncovered for everyone to see without consent. If I could block this person then that would be fine, but I cannot find any way to do this. People can apparently do what ever they want on camera and show it on your site without even having to navigate to their actual broadcaster page. Implementing a way to block certain people seems like a no-brainier, I sincerely hope this is done soon

I came here because of Amouranth, only to find other people in this exact thread complaining about her. Please show some integrity Twitch and allow us to block content that we're not comfortable seeing on our feed. I'm okay with your open policy, but only if you can give me control of hiding the inappropriate things.
I just started getting back into Twitch, and have seen similar things. It would be nice to implement what I would like to see on my main page, and not the same people over and over again that I really have no interest in watching or interacting with.
let us block the disgusting rhinos you allow to stream.
How is this not already implemented? I want to block/hide certain channels from showing up on my recommended feed (and all other feeds for that matter). Let us block/hide channels.

Please add the ability to block channels in your suggestion feed. I'm tired of seeing that skeezy, liar, whore Amouranth in my feed. If you won't ban this waste of humanity, atleast let me block her fake face from my feed.

Some streamers can be rude and leave a bad taste in your mouth, so not being able to at least hide their channel's when I open twitch makes me want to stop using it entirely.
need this, come on Twitch, there are some crap channels out there
+7 votes if I could
Following people on Twitch is great to me for getting to know when they're live. The hosting feature is cool as well. However, sometimes the streamers will host channels that I'm not particularly fond of, like girls going all out trying to show their cleavage to everyone for views. This one channel shows up in their host list all the time, and I'd like to stop seeing that. It's quite embarrassing to have that show up on my page like that. It would be easy to just get rid of that one channel from my page.
Today it's FelicaDay #KeepFamiliesTogether. Seriously? People dancing like they are mentally challenged and being as annoying as humanly possible. I didn't come to Twitch for this stupid political nonsense. I looked everywhere for an option to block it and found nothing. I went in chat and got permabanned in 3 seconds yet I still see this crap. I will not be using the site anymore.
Same here. Please add this option. I watched like one video of Amouranth and now she's the first thing I see when I open Twitch EVERY TIME. I have not problem letting her do her thing, but I don't want to see any of her things.
I want to block some channels that show up every single day in the recommended list
(for example some whores are recommended everyday in my twitch platform)
I would like to consider this option seriously and put it in one of your next updates.
Come on, how many years and how many votes do you need to add this simple option please? more than 3 years and 245 votes!!!!!

How many years later? I think I will choose to live stream elsewhere...

Please implement the option to do this. There are some streamers that I do not wish to see ever, not even a glimpse of and would like to to filter out the possibility of seeing or coming across while on the site. Especially when opening Twitch and seeing certain streamers with the paused latest image right there on the front page.
I believe the ability to block streamers or at a minimum stop streamers from appearing in recommended would be a great feature. I too find Amouranth's streams to be content I don't want to consume. It seems odd that Twitch always recommends her stream to me as I don't visit her stream nor content similar to her stream. What ever algorithm Twitch is using needs work, or just provide a way for users to remove specific streams please.
Yes please, a thousand times this. I would love to be able to block all the twitch thots.
1. Allow the option of "not interested" when displaying a recommended channel.
2. Allow a "not interested" or "am interested" option to a certain games/genres. eg... Am interested in: game #1, not interested in: game #2. Show less recommendations of game two and more of game 1.
3. Allow an "explore" option to be able to navigate streamers/genres/games that you are interested in.
4. Have a "promoted" to separate paid-for appearances and recommended topics.
5. Add a "block" option for channels you really don't want to see (obviously there will probably be an exception for channels appearing on "promoted").
6. present these options when hovering over or clicking on the channel from the recommended sections the same way you can with "follow" option.
Yes please. Shroud is so overhyped that I don't even want to see his goddamn face. I block any channel that is suggested to me on youtube for even having the nerve to suggest a "Shroud reacts" video. Ninja is probably next on my list.
