Drop down categories to reduce the size of the list so that users don't have to "guess" or slog through the huge list of tags that is growing.
The tags list SHOULD continue to grow, more tags == better.
This poses an issue with searching for what is available. The growing list leaves users like myself guessing what words are available. Even if what we're thinking is in the list we might not have the exact right word in mind, meaning the only existing option we have is to scroll through the intimidating list that is available until we see what we want.
Solution would be to create "group tags." Add dropdown menus, group lists composed of related tags. Some immediate examples would be "Speedrunning," "hardcore," "playstyles," "Identity" "LGBTQ" "Mental/Physical Health" "Challenges," "Art," "Crafting." Some of these are already existing tags, but instead they could be used as "groups" that encompass a group of related tags. This immediately reduces redundant use of tags in the list as well meaning we get more out of the limited 5 tags that we can use. This could also be combined with features like "recommended" tags based on the content category you are listing your stream in.
